American Deli — Restaurant in Lake City

I'm usually not very picky when it comes to wings or chicken, but I do have some things to say about this place. This is my first time at American Deli and this is one of the closest locations. Decided to try it out because our usual wing place was closed. Just to give context, we did go here near nighttime so I don't know if that affected the experience.

Let's just start off with how the wings are very tiny.. and this is coming from someone who has tiny hands, it looked even tinier in my hands. It did not even fill up the box...we got a 10pc honey hot wings (bone in)... It looked very small and all the other wing places I've gone to in this city has never given small wings like this. The fries are ALSO tiny and thinly cut here. I got the peach drink and they were not cold at all and it took a while for the ice to make it cold, but the drink was good. I give it a 3 stars for average and it was saved by the taste and service. AT LEAST, the food tastes good and the service was fast and quick, so those made it up for the lack of quality. Again, I did come at night so I have no idea if maybe they just ran out of big wings and fries.. but I'm rating it off with what I got. I don't think the prices justify the small portion. I'm a ranch lover and the ranch here is good, they only give you one but because the wings and fries were small, the one ranch was enough for it.

There's literally a chicken and seafood place within walking distance that has wayyy bigger wings and fries worth the price. And down the road 5 mins away, there is another wing place with similar prices or less that gives larger portions and fries with just as many flavors. And the wings (10 pc) all fill up the boxes along with the fries, and they all have the same size of boxes...

While there are pros and cons, I personally wouldn't come back unless I want to give it another chance or the other places I go...

Don't go. I hadn't been here before but finally went figuring since there's so many of them it should be good right? WRONG. Not only was my order wrong they trolled me hard. Ordered a cheeseburger combo only cheese mayo and ketchup. I received no cheese no ketchup and a tiny bit of mayo. I get halfway through when I suddenly hit mustard! What?! Seriously what did I do to you? That doesn't really seem like a mistake to mustard half my burger when I asked for none after already leaving requested things off. If it was an accident and realized halfway it's just careless cuz it wasn't remade. Receipt reflects what I ordered yet got that strangeness. That's the craziest wrong order I've ever received and I won't...

Went to the location to order 30 piece wings and fries. My order was placed at 8:42pm, and at 9:15, I still did not have my food. I understand they were busy, but several people people came in after me got their food and were gone. The cashier did not offer anything for my wait, and when my food finally came, their attitude was like "oh well". I asked for an extra ranch for my wait and the lady at the register had the gaul to want me to pay an extra 75 cents. The could have at least given me an extra one for my wait. I'm starting to 2nd guess going back to that location. I'm sure there are cheaper wing...
