Hong Kong City — Restaurant in Lake City

The customer area is clean. However, that’s about the only good thing about the restaurant. I purchased shrimp fried rice which I found several shrimp were not clean. I called the restaurant and informed them about it. The woman offered to replace but I decided not to patronize them again. After several months not patronizing them, I went back in and placed my food ordered. The cooks did not follow any safe food handling procedures. Broccoli was sitting on a table in an open container with a smaller pot sitting on top of it!! It was not being used. They also had a very large container of rice sitting on a small table uncovered. I can see why you don’t see a lot of people patronizing this restaurant. Finally, I don’t think they earned the 84 score listed on their inspection certificate displayed. Pray...

I hear that you say you want to make things right after my bad experience with your restaurant. Well I don’t think your restaurant is willing to do what I would want to make things right. But I will play along. The food was nasty like it had been 3 days old but I have told you that. If you that is not the way you do business than show me by the following. 1 refund the money we spent in full cash is fine then bc it’s not truly what your restaurant is about show character and pay for the pizza we got from papa John’s 26.99. Along with that I want to see the next 10 reviews with a 4 star or better in all areas. We ordered the the steamed dumplings and Crab ragoons to try. Those were pretty good. The Philly egg rolls were disappointing. The steak was shredded and it really didn't taste like a Philly anything. I ordered the chicken and broccoli. I must give them credit, to have the ability to give chicken a seafood texture is unheard of. The flavor was missing. I was grateful that there was more broccoli then chicken. My husband ordered lo mien with nothing but sauce with a order of general tso chicken with extra sauce. Didn't get the extra sauce but not a huge deal. He says that it was descent.
