Xapa Coffee is a charming coffee shop located in the historic downtown area of Lake City, Florida. As soon as you walk through the doors, you are greeted with the wonderful aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
One of the things that sets Xapa Coffee apart from other coffee shops in the area is the exceptional customer service. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that every customer has a great experience. In particular, the owner, Joy, is truly passionate about creating amazing coffee and providing a welcoming environment for all who visit.
Joy's passion for great coffee is evident in every cup served at Xapa Coffee. The coffee is sourced from top-quality Bold City roasters and expertly brewed to perfection. Whether you prefer a classic drip coffee, a rich and creamy latte, or a flavorful iced coffee, the baristas at Xapa Coffee have you covered.
One of my favorite things about Xapa Coffee is the selection of baked goods made by the talented Megan. From decadent peach pound cake and muffins to cookies and scones, the baked goods at Xapa Coffee are truly exceptional. The cinnamon rolls are a particular favorite of mine, with their perfectly gooey centers and generous frosting topping. Pro tip make sure you ask them warm it up for you!
The atmosphere at Xapa Coffee is cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating and a charming decor that pays homage to the rich history of the building and the town itself. The shop is filled with natural light, making it a great spot for catching up with friends, working remotely, or simply relaxing with a great cup of coffee.
Overall, I would highly recommend Xapa Coffee to anyone looking for a great coffee shop in the Lake City area. From the exceptional customer service to the delicious coffee and baked goods, this shop truly has it all. Joy's passion for amazing coffee shines through in every cup, and Megan's baked goods are simply outstanding. Add in the cozy atmosphere and you have a coffee shop that truly stands out...
Read moreIâm not gonna lie, I am STILL daydreaming about the taste of that key lime pound cake. I told the owner I want to order one for my birthday⌠legit!
Not one baked items that Iâve had had disappointed! The ginger snap cookies were fire. They have mini baklava- and yes, I said baklava⌠what coffee shop has that!? and itâs tasty baklava to boot.
I am not coffee informed (snobbish) enough to feel like I have the accurate ability to rate coffee from a technical perspective but from a taste one, their Java chiller a a great solid. I experimented with the honey turmeric and was pleasantly surprised. Their cappuccino was deliciousâŚ. Ooooooh and I FORGOT! The lemon curd ricotta toast- mercy Lord! If you like that combo, youâll love theirs.
Can you tell Iâve got a sweet tooth and Iâve become a repeat customer? Itâs worth the stop, very nice vibe inside and in the vintage brick paved back. And the perk is that if youâre a walker or like a cute mini drive, the large downtown lake is like a walking block away from the back of the shop and itâs a nice sip and stroll if youâre that type of a human. I am.
Well, Iâve babbled enough. This is where this momma goes with her piggy bank...
Read moreThis is a must "stop in" place. I was greeted by smiling faces, and everyone was friendly. The cappuccino is amazing, but hands down my favorite item of the day was the Kolache pastry. There are so many wonderful choices I wasn't sure which one to pick. It does get busy and a bit crowded. Standing room is limited while waiting. Seating is limited, but I suggest trying to get a seat and enjoy the atmosphere. Park around back. Parking out front is very limited. Again, this is not a big space but well worth the visit! If I could suggest anything, these would be my suggestions: -During busy hours, ask that baby strollers remain outside -Stickers.. who doesn't love a good sticker for their drinking containers. I love collecting these. -Apparel... I wish they would carry sizes for curvy beautiful women. Again, this is only my two cents! I visit Lake City every month, and I will be stopping here every trip. Who knows? I may need to order one of every pastry next time. Please stop in and check out this spot. This is definitely worth supporting...
