I don’t normally like leaving negative reviews but when you have three bad experiences on one visit to a restaurant I think it must be said. I picked my grandkids up from school and it was too early for them to have lunch so we decided to go to Burger King they both want chicken fries meals with a large icy Coke and all I ordered is a whopper just the way it comes so then, the lady in the drive-through asked me if I wanted cheese and I said NO she then could not give me my total said I will give it to you at the first window. When I pulled up to the window I gave them my credit card and then drove up to the next window. They handed me a bag I started to drive forward, but decided to check the bag no whopper so I back up and I told the Lady I didn’t get my whopper she said you didn’t pay for it didn’t offer to let me pay for one or just give me one ( that was negative experience number 1 ) So then I had to drive back around and go inside the building. Walk inside explain to the lady about going through the drive-through, and they even asked me if I wanted cheese but still did not charge me or give me a whopper Then had to go through the whole thing again about not wanting a meal just the whopper NO I do not want cheese. So then they call out the wrong name calling me, Trent, and my name is Frank no problem I go up to grab the bag she says a whopper with cheese and as I stand there looking dumbfounded, I said no I did not want cheese, but I took it anyways and just started walking out the door. ( That’s a soft negative number 2 as I’m going out the door, I hear the lady that took my order complaining about me to the customers about how I ordered it with cheese now we’re starting negative experience number 3 I turned around, walked back in and, explained to her exactly what I said, and as I was leaving again, I could still keep hearing her in their complaining about me so I tried to then call the store to talk to a manager and they would not even answer the phone. I guess that’s one way not to hear your...
Read moreWe were on the way to an event in Lake City Saturday 10/12 and wanted to try an Impossible Burger so we stopped in. Being vegetarian, I can't tell you when we had last been to a BK. The place was doing a very light dinner business (should have been a warning) so it seemed like we'd have plenty of time to order, eat and make our event on time. We watched the 3 employees argue while they all waited for fries to cook. One girl kept saying "Shoot me in the face" I think maybe the manager was cooking unless Burger King has a dress code that requires cooks to wear a shirt and tie. Anyway when the fries came up it freed one of the group to take our order. We got our drinks and sat down to wait. And wait, and wait and wait a little longer. I saw the burgers sitting on a tray so I walked up to the counter and asked if our food was ready. Unbelievably they were waiting for the dude in the tie to cook up some more french fries. After a couple more "Shoot me in the face" requests from the girl who now was having anger issues with customers in the drive thru, the fries were ready, crisp and hot. Unfortunately they were served with room temperature Impossible Burgers. We were running out of time and goodwill for this impossibly poor excuse for a restaurant and went out on the patio to gulp down the food and run. Miss "Shoot me in the face" appeared to have a cigarette and talk on her phone. To her credit she said "Sorry your food took so long". I'm sure the other 2 employees were still trying to keep up with the endless demand for French fries. If our experience(negative 5 stars) is representative of how customers are dealt with at this location, the place should be closed immediately and only re opened with staff that has had training and actually wants to work at Burger King. I can't recommend that anyone visit this place until full scale...
Read moreSeems like the only 5 star reviews are regarding BK in general. Or maybe the food here is ok. But the service was a littttle 'Eh'. Pull up to the drive through with only one person ahead of me. Takes them 5 minutes to get to order. They pull up, I get to the speaker. 5 minutes later I finally hear a voice but it's just to say "We'll be right with you." A minute later, same thing. 5 minutes later, I finally get to order. Then I pull up and all the lady says is "Yeah it's only 3 of us in here that's why it's takin so long". No 'hey/how are you/etc'. Which is fine I guess... but while I'm waiting for my order I hear her taking someone else's, and I guess they were unclear or something cuz she's all, "Okay then, next time SAY that!" to the customer. Yikes, seemed a little rude. So anyway another 5 minutes later I get my order and it's warmish... (including the supposed-to-be-chilled chocolate pie i got my kid...) but at least its correct. Omgoodness though...whoever district manager is for this location needs to hire some more dang staff... and train those they have on a more... professional... way to inform the customer that there will be delay. i.e. "Welcome to BK we're a little short tonight so you're looking at about a 15 to 30 minute wait, is that okay?" Rather than waiting til people are trapped between cars & paid up to hear about staffing via a staff member's public complaint. They just don't seem equipped to handle even super small volumes of people. If your restaurant gets so little business that you staff by the expectation that you might get 3 customers an hour, it's time to...
