Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Lake City

I'm honestly quite upset. The service was terrible and my food was wrong. While ordering the guy that was working the speaker was rude and short, he sounded EXTREMELY uncaring. We ordered 2 of the wings and things, side of cole slaw and a salad. I did forget to specify traditional and he didn't ask me to clarify and ordered 3 cokes. Once we pulled up the girl running the cashier did ask me how my day was was swiftly and rudely slammed window shut before I could answer. Once we were handed our food I didn't notice the Cole slaw on top so I asked for the Cole slaw and she rudely said it was in the bag. I thought maybe it was put in the container. Unfortunately I was purchasing to drop off at home otw to work so I did not see that the order was wrong till after I got home hours later. We recieved boneless chicken, I understand that the chicken didn't get specified but I'd expect bone-in as it's called "traditional" well because usually when people order chicken wings they get bone-in. Also my slaw was most certainly NOT in the bag. The sodas were awful as well. The syrup must've been out they were very light brown and tasted of mostly seltzer water. I'd absolutely want a refund but unfortunately my daughter must've ate the regular tenders and my husband's salad was the one good thing we got and wasn't aware what anything else was suppose to be. So now its midnight just getting off work tired and hungry thinking I was about to grub happily was proven wrong 😭 So being in over $30 deep...everything else closed...i have to just deal with it. The Lake City location is usually pretty great. I'd admit the customer service always pretty rocky but their food is usually on point. Can't have both bad service and bad food...Sooo anyways yeah I won't be back for awhile if at all because of my experience tonight...oh yeah we came 01/22/25 around 7pm. The man and woman working that shift should be held...

I order the same thing everytime I go to Zaxby’s. This was my first time at Zaxby’s in Lake City Florida. I will not be returning for a while, maybe they will have a new crew. I asked for a “buffalo big Zax snack meal, with my chicken extra extra crispy please” I paid Tyler A and got my receipt and checked to see if he put “ask me” under my order, which indicates there is a special request on the meal. He did not. I waited to see if he was going to let the cooks know, he did not. So asked the manager if she could make sure my chicken was being cooked extra crispy before it was finished. She asked Tyler if he told them, he shrugged his shoulders and said “ no” and laughed it off. So she yelled back and said “she wants her chicken crispy” well it is lunch time and they are slammed.. how the heck would they know which order of chicken was mine?

I get my meal and of course my chicken is not cooked crispy, looks like they just tossed raw chicken in some sauce. So I nicely ask for them to cook it longer. They take my plate and start shaking their heads, the cooked grabs my plate and sets it to the side, does not toss it and make me fresh, she removes the chicken and add new chicken to my cold chips on the plate and give me my meal. No “ sorry ” more like I was a inconvenience.

If I am coming in a paying customer wether a small or large bill, I feel like I should have been treated a lot kinder and Tyler needs to get his head out his butt and do his job right. He just stands there in a complete daze. Good luck but I will continue my business in Live Oak where they listen to what their customers request. Very disappointed, wish I went elsewhere today...

We stopped at this Zaxbys on our way to Florida. Though we had a long drive, my husband wanted to stretch his legs. Boy, that was just the start. We went in to order, but asked for it to be "to go". That's until my husband saw the soda machine. It had every soda with every flavor you could think of. You could get a pineapple diet coke, or a blueberry sprite. You know the machine. By the time our food came, my husband had downed one cherry powerade zero, one grape powerade, and one orange Fanta with strawberry.

We decided to let him have fun. Every dad needs fun, right? After 9 full drinks of every combination you can think of, he couldn't drink one more drop. The downside was the bathroom stops from here to Clearwater. It basically turned a one day drive into 2-1/2. Because of the bathroom stops, we had to get a hotel room because it got very late. Then he was up all night in the bathroom, so he slept through breakfast. The good part was that he did not get dehydrated pacing the marathon we went to pace.

All that to say, the food was good, the drinks were better, and the service was the best. I got tickled at the employees getting tickled by him and his fascination with the drink machine. Sorry to the elderly gentleman who he shoved without meaning to. He had just overheard someone saying the orange was running out and...
