Red Lobster — Restaurant in Lake City

Bought $300 worth of food to go and will never do that again. Bought the Ultimate Family meal for 4, received only 3 lobster tails. Food was supposed to be done at 4:45 pm, I showed up at 4:30, and it was already done and bagged. If I had to guess from the limp fries my Aunt received, the food sat for at least a half hour before I picked it up. I paid $50 in tips for the workers when I ordered the food, and never again will I do that either. Overall, it was a bad experience and will not do the online ordering again. +++++Update+++++ They message me on this review telling me to contact them through Facebook messenger, so I do. After a few days they tell me someone will contact me by a certain date, they don't. So I message them back saying I haven't heard from anyone. They tell me the manager at Lake City Fl Red Lobster will contact me by this other date, but they do not. I message them again on Messenger, and they tell me multiple tries to contact me have failed, 🤣. MY CELL NUMBER IS ON THE RECEIPT I SENT THEM! There was no attempt to contact me, so anyway, they told me to contact the restaurant myself. I've already spent too much of my time for what, an apology? Please, I'm done with these people and the games. It's obvious the upper management cares as much as the workers under them do when it comes to customer service. The sad part is, I'm not from Lake City, I was only visiting family. I live in Upstate, NY, and I won't go to this one up here...

After seeing the new Red Lobster commercial I decided to give them another try. Well either the Lake City, Fl location didn't get the memo or just doesn't care. I ordered the Crusted chicken with broccoli and baked potato. Though it tasted good it had to have been the smallest chicken breast of all time and the baked potato must have came from the same farm. You can see the breast size compared to the cherry tomatoes it had with it. That was the only chunk of chicken received. I also ordered a house salad extra and some Alfredo pasta to go with it. The pasta tasted VERY chalky and was warm at best. That was a $7 add on. The house salad ordered was about the size of the container of ranch that came with it. That's absurd at $6!! I left the dinky plastic fork they send in the pack for size reference. Overall my food was well over $50 bucks BEFORE the tip. Didn't get much for that price. Do yourself a favor. Just skip this place and maybe the whole chain in general. Though it tasted good, the portions you get for the price will infuriate you. Please reference the attached pics.

Maybe they just stick it to the to go people. I don't know. By the time we figure it out, what do they care? It's already paid for!?

Went in on Tuesday for my wife's Birthday dinner and was asked if we could wait 5 to 10. They didn't seem busy. Lots of open tables but wasn't a issue so we took a seat. 15 minutes go by we are still waiting when another couple comes in and the hosted says the same thing. 5 more minutes goes by then she comes back and seats the other couple. When she returned to the stand we asked why she skipped us? Her response was she forgot and didn't see us sitting next to her booth. I am around 350lbs you can't miss me. Lol. We asked yo speak to the manager and she asked why? I can just seat you. We asked again to speak to the manager. This is one of the most disrespectful incounters we have ever had with a hostess. If your looking for a rude disrespectful place to eat then this is for you.......

-- UPDATE-- I appreciate your offer of a free meal but could not reconcile in my mind the thought of trading a meal for her honor. She volunteers when ever and wherever needed in addition to her full time job of helping others. 1 day a year she allows me to put her 1st.
