I had the pleasure of visiting Jersey's on Halloween in McCulloch with my niece, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The streets were teeming with kids, parents, and an enthusiastic older crowd, all immersed in the Halloween festivities. Hungry and somewhat skeptical about finding a place to eat in the midst of the bustling crowd, my niece and I decided to give Jersey's a try.
Upon arriving, my niece expressed doubt about getting a table, given the sheer number of people. However, our worries were quickly put to rest by an incredibly energetic and positive server. She not only managed to seat both of us but also assured us that despite the busyness, they would make every effort to serve our food promptly.
Although it did take about 30 minutes to receive our meals, I can wholeheartedly say that it was well worth the wait. As someone who's not in the restaurant business, I gained a newfound appreciation for the challenges faced by those in the industry. I'm grateful to be a customer rather than having to deal with the hungry and impatient crowd.
Our server's excellent service, the quality of the food, and the overall experience at Jersey's were outstanding. It was a delightful culinary adventure amidst the Halloween festivities, and I left with a smile on my face. Jersey's truly exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience...
Read moreI had ordered the meatball appetizer and the Jersey burger, and while the menu said homemade meatballs, I can’t say that is what it tasted like. The meatballs were extremely dense and not very flavorful. The outside was overdone though which seems like a trait of frozen processed food. Dense center and over cooked exterior. When the burger arrived I was excited, but I was quickly let down. The French fries were at least warm but were not seasoned at all. Even a dash of salt and pepper made a world of a difference. Sadly the burger was similar. Upon first bite I was met with overwhelming nothing. Every bite that followed I was disappointed with the lack of flavor of the patty. Even the red onions tasted dull. My spouse ordered the fish and chips and was met by equally disappointing results. Mushy and soggy fish inside an over cooked exterior providing a painfully crunchy crust. The service was pleasant but our booth was much too far from the table, meaning I had to sit on the edge of the booth just to reach the table comfortably, which meant that less than halfway through the whole meal I was having back pain from trying to reach the table and remain comfortable.
Overall I was surprised to find almost no seasoning on anything that was served. I am not encouraged to return...
Read moreI was excited to try this place, but my excitement came to a hard disappointment! When our waitress Kim finally decided to come to our table after being sitted for already 15 min. I asked the question if they had happy hour as I have never been there before, I felt as I was bothering her for asking. I ordered a glass of wine and when she brought it to me it was obvious she did not measure the pour it was below where it should be. I am pretty sure she did that on purpose because when she passed by me with a glass for another customer she made it a point to hide the glass as she passed by me. After another 25 minute she came took our order to finally get food. We did not see her the entire time until it was time to pay and let me tell you it was the fastest service on receiving my bill. I will never recommend this place nor will I go back. The service...
