Drove 3 hours specifically to try Mudshark Brewery for our first time and to celebrate this year’s release of the Peaceful Pumkin beer. We were blown away by this place for several reasons. 1. The staff is amazing! Rain, Delaney and Shannon took great care of us on Saturday night. Rain even showed us the brewery/bottling room where all the beers are made for a fun impromptu tour! We came back Sunday and Delaney made sure we had both NASCAR & NFL on the big TVs. 2. The beers are truly amazing and range in variety. You just don’t see such a huge variety of creative beers and seltzers at any brewery. The sugar/spiced rim was a perfect touch for the pumpkin ale. 3. The food blew us away. Best crust on a flatbread we’ve ever had. If you visit Mudshark, get Billy the goat pizza! We loved it the most out the four we tried. 4. The merchandise and atmosphere overall was perfect. There’s nothing worse than a fantastic brewery that displays cheap low-quality merchandise. Mudshark did not disappoint at all. The quality and variety of trucker hats, mugs and T’s was a nice surprise (love the camouflage hat I bought) . 5. This place is just an all around perfectly ran restaurant/brewery. Scott the owner made it a point to come to our table and say hello. He even introduced us to Luke, the head brewmaster. Scott and team, thank you so much for your generosity and hospitality Saturday night and Sunday afternoon! We can’t wait to come back and try your next fall beer “ Hot For Teacher”. Will see...
Read moreI give 2 stars because the girl behind the front counter was nice. For the food I give no stars. It was extremely overpriced. For $21.24 I got a pulled pork sandwich served on a stale toasted bun with barely enough pork to cover the bun, cold bbq sauce drizzled on top of the pork, kettle chips and a drink, I have no idea why that small amount of food would cost so much money. If I had not already paid I probably would have just walked out when I was served my plate. I was with friends and we were talking and eating but the entire time I was thinking my food resembles a lunch a child would make, they wouldn't know that the pork should have been piled high and smothered the bun, that the bbq sauce should have been mixed and heated with the pork, the sandwich plate should have two pickle spears, a cup of cole slaw, cup of baked beans, kettle chips, and a drink. Please try to give me my moneys worth. I am so sick of going to restaurants and paying over $20.00 for food and actually being served about $5.00 worth of food. What happened to including a cup of soup or salad...
Read moreThis was our 6th/8th visit and each time our experience has been worse. The service we received Friday night 10/18/2024 was servers who were inattentive, condescending and indifferent. One of our party of six didn’t receive what she ordered. When we were able to flag down someone (our server was no where to be found) he acted as if it was the costumers fault. The customer was given the correct order, with the salad coming after the meal. When we asked for our dirty dishes to be picked up, our server said it wasn’t her job and that she had a pre-busser. We ordered an after dinner drink and sat with dirty dishes. When one of our party asked again if the dirty dishes could be picked up, our server took that one persons dishes and left the rest. We finished our visit with dirty dishes still covering our table. Our Philly steak sandwich was dry and mostly bread, the pizza had no sauce. The other two meals were satisfactory. We won’t go out of our way to return here. There’s too many other great restaurants in town where the people act like they actually...
