My sales professional, Eddie, went out of his way to assist me. As a snowbird from Wisconsin not realizing ordering furniture in a different region may be difficult. I though I could go to my local Ashley store, look at what I want and order online but a supervisor explained how Ashley furniture works and suggested I call the store near my new condominium in Lake Havasu City, which I did. A representative took my name/number for a sales representative to contact me back. Eddie responded right away. I explained what I was looking for and he text me all the options for a queen bed frame with storage drawers for me to feel confident now in choosing. I text Eddie back after hours thinking he’d get back with me the next work day; however, Eddie took the time to respond which made me incredibly happy knowing he cared enough to respond regardless at work or not. The next day we text Eddie if he could look into one of our options with a particular manufacture but of a different model that wasn’t in our original choices. Eddie investigated and to my surprise the bed we want was available to purchase at the Lake Havasu City Ashley Store. We ended up going back to our local store in Wisconsin to get item numbers for mattresses we liked. I really appreciate the ability to text back and forth with my sales professional, Eddie!! Eddie made it easy and confident as he further explained the lead times which isn’t a big deal knowing I won’t be back to havasu for a couple months. Eddie further coordinated my visit back with the lead times for his store to get my furniture allowing me the confidence to coordinate a date good for me and could hold the furniture in his store knowing my tentative schedule which he instructed me to contact him once I locked down a return to havasu date. I was so happy for all his hard work investigating furniture that fit my needs to respond to my text after work hours to coordinating the order to satisfy my schedule. EDDIE, made my furniture shopping 2,000 away quick and easy. Apparently I’m old enough to not understand how to leave this review. Again I text Eddie for help as I 1st went on Ashley.com asking the same question to the online support but fell short as that entity wasn’t helpful at all and actually gave up on me. I copied/paste the screen shot of my dialog with Ashley corporates customer service that didn’t help me so I screen shot the online conversation to text Eddie I can’t leave a raving review cause I can’t figure out how too. Again, Eddie, on his own time found how too and made a video of how I could review him. EDDIE is over top helpful, when I need furniture in Lake Havasu City, I’m going directly to Eddie, not that there’s anything wrong with the other sales professionals but if they’re anything like Eddie then the store needs a raving review as well. I couldn’t be happier, thank you Eddie and looking to do more business with confidence with him. If you are in the same situation needing to purchase furniture 2,000 miles away not knowing their inventory possibilities then, if I were you, I’d contact Eddie because he will not only take care of you, he will make you feel like you are the most important customer in his day. Read moreZERO STARS!!!! The customer service at this store, from the salespeople on the floor to the reps that take phone calls is atrocious! They ALL lie through their teeth and most of them are rude and have horrible people skills! We have bought numerous items from this particular store over the last 2 years and have had less than mediocre experiences with the salespeople on the floor. None-the-less went through with our purchases because we liked the items. The last purchase was the straw that broke the camel's back! First, the sales rep told us she was getting us a much better deal than advertised because this particular store is privately owned and can offer better deals. Ok cool... LIES!!! I went to the website the same day and was able to put everything we just purchased in my cart with delivery and tax included.... for $300 less! We wanted to support the "local" business and decided to let it go and hopefully the store/employees keep the benefits. We were told ALL of our items were in stock except one piece. Everything but that one piece would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. Cool... LIES!!! 3 1/2 months later we are still waiting for 3 pieces... I called 5 different times.. each time told a different story.. So ok, I'm trying to be patient given the current situation with covid and all that back shipments and whatnot even though the ladies I speak to on the phone are ridiculously rude and condescending. I say nothing... I accept the behavior because I just want my furniture! I call again. I am told verbatim "your items are now in the warehouse ready to be loaded TODAY. I am not sure of the actual date we will receive them for delivery, but it should be anywhere from a couple of days to a week" I still have not received any info on my delivery, so I call again a week and a half later. Guess what?! In true nature of the way this store operates.... I am told... "it looks like your items will be ready to load from California in 2 weeks, but that doesn't mean we will receive them here for delivery. This is just an estimate as to when it will be loaded on a truck to come our way." MORE LIES!!!! Order CANCELLED and my new items will be delivered in ONE WEEK from LIVING SPACES. Was told I would receive 2 separate shipments as indicated and annotated on the invoice. After the missed delivery window I called in asking for an update and they told me I would only receive one delivery and everything was on back order and they could not provide a delivery update and I would have to wait. When purchasing I told them I would not be ordering back ordered items and they assured me everything was readily available and instock... After the 1st interaction, they called me saying they would be scheduling the 1st delivery within a few days as originally agreed, nobody called back, I called back a week later and they reverted to everything would be delivered in one delivery and they were waiting on back ordered material... I told them I wanted to cancel the order at this point. They said someone would call back. They called and said they would be scheduling a delivery within a few days as originally agreed. After another few days I called back and they once again reverted to a single delivery and that I needed to wait for the back ordered item. I asked to cancel the purchase and they once again said someone would call me back. I asked to speak to a manager and was told I am speaking to a supervisor, i said fantastic, let me speak to the manager as requested and was told i vould not speak to the manager and they were all that was available and someone could call back later to cancel the order...At this point I refused the call back and demanded they cancel the order, they complied. I spoke with the 1800 ashley number and they informed me this location is not an ashley furniture store but a 3rd party retailer who only licensed thier logo, ashley furniture could not provide any customer support due to them being a 3rd party they are not affiliated with... I found the exact same items on another retailers website for 1600 dollars less than the 20% discount I was offered in store... what ever this location has In store is cheaper through a different seller. Don't waste your time with this location, you'll receive better service and pricing elsewhere. Hopefully this serves as caution to any would be shopper's to avoid...
