Great store, easily spend hours there. Bought some fabric, the gal at the cutting counter was a bit rude. I had several bolts that I placed on the counter. I pushed one forward towards her requesting the amount I needed cut. She asked if that was all being cut before she had rolled out the one I gave her. I said no, I have all these as I pointed to the stack between us on the counter. Previously as she was stocking shelves I had asked about a sewing notion she was putting out in white asked if they also had this in black. Her reply was I am suprised we got this. So I am not surprised to find out on the next day she actually only cut a yard and not a yard and a half like I'd requested. They charged me correctly for a single yard, but to top it off they were closed the following day. While waiting in the long check out line they kept announcing the store was closing soon and to finalize your purchases. Of all the banks of registers they only had two cashiers. It took quite some time. Standing there I overheard, while in line so long, that when they finished stocking they could go home. Ah so very clear now, I had disrupted that gal by requesting her attention to the cutting counter. I am not from the area and don't have a store near me. I dont get to frequent often but usually enjoy my visit. The fabric was sold out on line so I never got that 1/2...
Read moreUsually, I have good experiences here, and I usually don't post non positive reviews, but today's experience was just sub-par. I had a return. There was a line of approx 13 people at the only open register (register 1). I found an associate at another check put speaking with what looked like a manager. I asked the associate if she could help me with a return. She told me no and that returns were only handled at register 1. She looked up & pointed to the end of that long line. I hesitated to see if they were going to call for more cashiers. They didn't. I went to check on some items in the far back, opposite corner of the store, to let the check out line get smaller. They didn't call for more cashiers until I was almost back to the front. When I got to the cashier at register I and asked for a refund, she didn't seem concerned at all about why i was returning my purchase. She told me she could pay the return to me with cash and immediately asked for my digital signature. Before I signed, I asked if I could have it put back on the card I used to purchase, she said "No, I've already pushed the button for cash return". I told her I wished she would have given me the choice. She was indifferent again. Just poor customer service from 3 different employees....
Read moreThe employees need a refresher course in customer service. At the fabric counter I attempted to make polite small talk, literally just asked "how are you today?". The response was a gruff "fine" from the woman servicing me, who then glared at me and refused to engage or act the slightest bit friendly. Then I went to check out. A completely different woman refused to even vocally acknowledge me, just grabbed my stuff out of my hands and angrily scanned it before shoving it in a bag. No "did you find everything ok" "how are you" not a single bit of engagement or kindness. I have worked retail my entire life and even on my worst days you would never catch me behaving like either of these women. I get that it's a rough job but the behavior I recieved was appalling. I unfortunately have to shop at this store as theres no other options in Lake Havasu but I am extremely frustrated with...
