Panda House — Restaurant in Lake Orion

I have been to multiple states and tried Chinese food in each one. Each place makes it different. But when I came to Michigan in search of good Chinese food it was hard to find. Which is disappointing because they are everywhere. Sad to say Panda house was another disappointment. It was 8pm and I was looking for Chinese food. My normal order when I go to any Chinese store is General Tso's chicken combo and 2 chicken with broccoli combos. The price came out to 44.36 with a credit card. My thoughts were this place must hold high standards to charge this much. I started with the egg roll and it tasted expired. The taste of old veggies. My wife felt like throwing up it was bad. Next was the chicken broccoli. The chicken so plain, the veggies tasted expired also and it also included mushrooms which I have not seen in a while. Nothing like a regular chicken broccoli combo you would get anywhere else. Regular price at $10 and for pork fried rice was another$2. A very expensive plate that will make you regret your choice coming to this place. Next was the general Tso's chicken. Also $10 and another 2 dollars for pork fried rice. The sauce was very watery. The only thing I can say is they are able to make prk fried rice which is the reason I gave it one star. I don't recommend this place at all. A very expensive place with low quality. Edit: This place gave me FOOD POISONING! No joke. I was horrifically ill for nearly 3 days. Will never eat here again.

I hate leaving negative reviews but I hope it helps in the aspects of feedback. I was really excited to try this place because it's literally up the street from me.

Unfortunately the food just wasn't good. The General Tso's Chicken was a mushy, soggy consistency I've never had with the entree before and it lacked flavor. I ordered an entree of Chicken and Mixed Vegetables and it was in this bland white sauce and it was mushy. Any time I've had Chicken and Broccoli or Mixed Vegetables its always been in a brown sauce. The fried and white rice was decent but lacked flavor.

We spent 40 bucks and ended up forcing ourselves to eat some of the food. I tried eating it the next night and just couldn't do it and I love leftover Chinese Food. We ended up throwing it out. I'm not writing this to be mean or rude in anyway but I was extremely disappointed with the lack of quality and lack of flavor, especially since this place is so close and we spent 40 bucks. We'll just stick with driving...

I have eaten here 10 times and their food is always been good. I used to go to a place called Golden Dragon in Oxford Never again... when I go to Golden Dragon. Their prices are higher and their food is horrible, the place is a complete Mess, it's filthy. I wonder what the back kitchen looks like Well I Looked compared to Panda House Which is very clean you can see right through to the kitchen... I've never had a bad meal here at Panda House. And the people that work here are very nice.
