I just went to your restaurant and went through the drive thru. We ordered a #5 and was told by the crew member that the person in front of us ordered something that was a 10 minute wait, and would we be okay waiting that long. There was already a car behind us, so we really didn't have a choice. I said yes, that is fine, but wondered why the staff would hold up the line for 10 minutes just for one customer. I continued to order the shrimp po'boy and the crew member said that their po boy machine was down and would be about a 30 minute wait. I said that we actually aren't able to wait that long and so we would just cancel our order. I asked the crew member if they could please let the car in front of us know that we would like to leave. He said that he could not do that. In between that time we thought we heard another voice came on the speaker, but I couldn't tell for sure. It asked if there were people behind us and I said yes, and they said there was nothing that they could do. I said can you please ask the person in front of us to move aside so we can leave. They said they would try, but they didn't have to if they didn't want to. I said that this is ridiculous because it isn't our fault that they are closing their machines down early, and since they are open until 11:00pm that we assumed they would still have their machines up and running. The second voice said that it wasn't their fault and there was nothing they could do. I asked if I could speak with a manager and the voice said I am the manager that is why there are two different voices. As he started to get louder and talk over me, I finally said that talking over me is not helping the situation and that I was done speaking to him. We never saw or heard anyone ask the car in front of us as promised. I don't appreciate your staff not only treating us in a rude fashion, but also insinuating that we are stupid because we didn't know there were two different voices, let alone that we were speaking to a manager. Also, if the crew members are telling the customers that they have to wait for another customer's order to be complete that they know will take ten minutes or more - how is that good customer service? Why should my food be cold because the person in front of me is ordering something that takes ten, twenty, or thirty minutes? I have never heard of anything like this at a FAST FOOD restaurant....
Read moreMy wife stopped by to pick up Dinner, one three piece and one two piece combo's. I found my Spicy chicken had tons of coating, the chicken 🐔 looked and tasted very old and over cooked. The meat was very dry I threw out most of the chicken, very little chicken on the bone. The Ice Tea was very weak, no flavor. Looks like a new owner to this fast food restaurant, it looks like a lot of cutting back on products to cut back on his overhead expenses. And Dammed Quality of the product. 😡, it's been a while since we've been back to this Poppeyes Oakgrove in Milwaukie Oregon. The last owners Quality of food was hit and miss at best, but tonight's meal was absolutely without question Garbage 🗑!. Like it was pulled out from the dumpsters. We in in the local area, some day in about 5 years, we might try this Popeyes again. My wife questioned the counter person about the chicken in a basket that was looked dried up. The owner stepped in back of the counter person as she tried to answer my wife s question. She looked very nervous. It looked like the New owner was about to raise a fit, if my wife was to check out what she had just bought. She would have asked for her money back. But we didn't find anything wrong intil she got home. Do your self a favor, don't buy food from this Popeyes on Mclaughlin in the Oakgrove area. Buyer Beware. P.S. Even my cat and Dog wouldn't touch the chicken. Even my wife's chicken that wasn't spicy. Also my side was the spicy frys, the side order was so small it was about half a cup or less. And TONS OF GREASE, so much I could change the oil in my truck with it. Like I said. NEVER AGAIN. I was really forward to a good meal 😩. 😡😡😡. What a...
Read moreNever ate at popeyes before and after dropping off a uhaul since it was near by, I thought I would try it. Went through the drive through and went to order. Unfamiliar with the menu it took me a minute. Asking the lady on the speaker what the sides were, obviously frustrated her. She ask me what to drink, I said Pepsi, she repeated my order and said with a coke. I said oh, realizing they only had coke products (not because she offered to tell me) so I said Sprite then. Which again her voice let me know she was frustrated and actually rude. I pulled up to pay and had my card ready, she reached for it without a word. No greeting nothing. She handed my sack out the window and turned away doing other stuff like pouring soda and such. I sat there waiting for my card and receipt for awhile, she didnt acknowledge that I was there. I hollered twice before I got her attention and she ask me what? I said are you done? She looked behind her seeing my card on the counter and handed it out the window, still no words of thanks, kiss my ... or nothing so, I said your are rude, she said, I didnt know if you were done or not and shut the window. So I drove off, handed my granddaughter her food in the back seat. She received no eating utensils, no straw, no honey or butter for the biscuit. I really thought about turning around but with the way the world is today decided to go on my way. However, here is my shout out to the lady with the ponytail doing the window at the Popeyes on McLoughlin "Customer Service is part of what brings back paying customers. Either you were having a bad day or you are just that way, rude? I...
