This use to be our favorite place to go to and get a double thin crust pizza. But when I stopped by a few days ago and asked for one and I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone! No one had ever heard of it and the manager said it wasn't even in the computer. I said I have been coming to a Mod Pizza at several different places for many years and always had them make us each one. They asked if I had come to this one and I said yes, last month or so. It was so wierd! So after talking to at least 4 people I was told they could make me one but wasn't sure it the double crust would bake properly. The crust was a bit thicker. But I said it would be fine. So after it was put together and ready for the oven the manager said she would have to charge me more for the double crust about $12.00. That was a lot more than I had been charged. But I agreed. Then when it came to my GREEK SALAD that was a whole different story. It was just about done being made when the man told me they didn't have any olives. I said that was what made it a GREEK SALAD! Then I was told it had something to do with the supply chain. The manager said I could have an other salad. I said no that it was already made but since it has not olives can I get a discount? She didn't want to give it to me but I said I was charged a lot more for the pizza. So she agreed. The total bill for the not so GREEK SALAD, the small personal size pizza, one root beer and a small cake was over $29.00!! So Wes and we decided not to do that again. Oh, and the GREEK SALAD had small cut up red pickled hot peppers 🌶! I DO NOT LIKE HOT PEPPERS!! In all the GREEK SALADS I have ordered I have NEVER HAD RED PICKLED HOT PEPPERS! IT DEFINITELY WAS NOT...
Read moreI walked in to order a make your own mod, and when I came through the doors saw no one in line or waiting for orders and three employees standing around doing nothing with their backs turned to the door. They did welcome me in but then proceeded to ignore me waiting to be helped for about 3 minutes. After which a male slowly proceeded to walk over and sloooowly start to assemble my pizza. I would not be surprised if he was high with his reaction time and how slowly he was putting the ingredients on my pizza. They put it in the oven and from previous experience of not only cooking but also eating here i knew i had about 12 minutes to go to 7-11 and grab some cash and come back. I left and came back less than 5 minutes later and my pizza was “ready” and they handed me my box. I was already offput by them not asking if i wanred any sauces on the side which i had requested while building my pizza, and by the fact the pizza box was barely warm. I get home and the pizza is bare of color on the crust, cheese barely melted and sauce cold to the touch. They didnt even bake it! This place is in need of new management and...
Read moreI have only been once so far. The build your own pizza business model is interesting. I really enjoyed being able to make my pizza exactly like I want it, right down to the thickness of the crust. However if someone charges me per topping my quick, inexpensive lunch goes away quick. Fortunately Mod Pizza has a set price per dough style, so you feel free to be as creative as you please. Want all the meat? Same price. Want all the veggies? Same price. You can also build a salad on top of a pizza crust, which is like salad and breadsticks I guess. The service here was very friendly and the dining area and prep area were clean. It only loses one star because the end product itself isn't really fantastic. It's not bad, just nothing stellar. The beer selection is halfway to being decent. The other reason for 4 stars is that the interior table layout is not ideal. Again, nothing bad, just not top of the heap. I will probably...
