Black Rock Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Oregon

I absolutely love every single person that works here because they know how I like my caramel latte chiller- with at least 3 solid inches of caramel at the bottom of my drink!!! With the exception of this one chick! I won't name any names (I actually don't know her name) but I swear EVERY SINGLE TIME SHE NOTICES IT'S ME IN THE DRIVE THROUGH, SHE HAS MAJOR ATTITUDE ISSUES AND MAKES MY DRINK WRONG, I MAKE SURE TO ASK HER TO PUT A SOLID 3 INCHES OF CARAMEL IN MY DRINK, she says"okay" or just ignores me, and YET STILL barely puts any caramel in the bottom of my cup!!! I don't have a clue what I ever did to her, but she clearly hates me for no reason whatsoever! She acts like the extra caramel comes out of her pocket or something (which obviously it doesn't, it clearly comes out of my pocket , so why she always has attitude and make my drink...

The only reason I’m not giving them a 1 is because I’ve been there before and it was decent. But the last few times have been horrible. Other then the extremely slow service, I received 2 peppermint white mochas that tasted burnt as heck, and didn’t taste anything like a peppermint mocha. Rather then coming back to this location I went to purchase the same drinks from the old 82nd location and what do ya know, the drinks were amazing, line was swift , and they even made your mistake right and gave me my coffees free due to the experience I had with your location.

With that said there are a few people at this location that are amazing and make great coffee. But man, if someone makes poo coffee, toss that mofo on the I-pad and let them take orders, don’t let them burn the...

I really love this Black Rock and specifically the Milwaukie location. The Gladstone is closer, but loved the obvious love put into this one.

However, the last 3 times I've been there, the grounds taste super burnt and no where near the absolute amazing feeling I get, when I partake in that wonderful 1st sip. With that said, that hasnt been the case lately. They either changed their coffee beans or someone in charge has no clue on how to properly brew it. Either way, I'm going to the Gladstone location and hope it resembles somewhat of what I've been expecting.

They do still have great customer service, so I don't want to torch them with a one star. But l would rather go to a grumpy AF place to get my coffee needs, over bubbly staff, but coffee tastes...
