Okay I have to say this Starbucks is a mess. I was there recently on my way to work, which was my first mistake - I was about 20 minutes late after this. Very busy, long line with a new employee working the register so naturally she was slow/flustered (not sure why a new employee would work a busy Saturday morning). The man behind me was sighing loudly and impatiently and putting up a scene. Somehow he ended up with a gift card to compensate for his patience while everyone else was waiting for their drinks/waiting in line just as long if not longer than him...? Not sure how that makes sense. Regardless of that - they get my drink wrong nearly every time, the drive thru line is a joke - only about 3 cars can fit and the rest of the line has to sit out on the street blocking others and half the time people cut the line because they don't understand how it works and then other cars freak out, slamming their horns. Can't they put a sign out there directing people how the line works? Lastly, there's a guy who works the drive thru who not once, but three times asked me "why I'm angry" or that "I look upset," suggesting that I should be smiling or in a good mood for him and the rest of the world or something? I wasn't even in a bad mood in these instances - I just have that kind of face, serious I guess. Come on dude. It's 2019. Saying things like that, especially in a retail setting, is extremely off-putting. Overall I avoid this Starbucks...
Read moreOrdered a mobile order and when I picked up my drink I tried to ask for a straw but nobody acknowledged my presence at the pickup counter. I then walked to the register but the staff member was walking away so I tried to ask for a straw but was ignored. I then tried to ask another staff member with their back to me if I could get a straw but no response. Finally, I walked back to the end of the pickup area and waited for the staff member to turn around so I could get their attention and when she turned look at me she stated, “were you just going to stare at me.” To which I replied, “Well, nobody here acknowledges the customer so I’m not sure how to get any help.” She then gave me my straw and I walked back my table only to try my drink and realize it wasn’t the correct drink. I won’t bore you with the rest of my story but suffice it to say the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. If I was getting a $1.99 coffee at the local gas station that’s one thing but when you’re paying $6 you...
Read moreDespite a lot of negative reviews citing the poor location, this is truly the best Starbucks I've ever been to from a staff perspective. Every barista I've ever interacted with there has gone above and beyond. When a barista recognizes you, they go out of their way to ask you about how things are going and follow up on conversations from past visits. That is super rare for a Starbucks. As corporate as this chain has become, this location manages to pack the small-town feel and experience into swinging by for your coffee fix. I sometimes go out of my way to stop by this Starbucks, even though I have locations much closer to me by my house...
