We were looking for something near the Lakewood Center in Lake Oswego for a quick bite to eat before our show on a Friday night. When we arrived, there was no hostess waiting, no sign directing us, and an outright mob of people inside. We pressed through to the bar, where a waitress caught us and said she'd find us a table.

Ordered a couple of pints at the bar and got some seats on a wicker chair and a re-cushioned church pew next to possibly the most self-important man in the room and waited about 15-20 minutes before we were even able to catch our waitress. She had waited on the table across from us at least 3 times, and we had been passed by by all of the other staff more than once in that time.

When we finally got a chance to order, the only time we saw our waitress in the next 25 minutes was when she dropped by to ask if we had gotten our beers at the bar, and if we had closed out our tab there. (We had, and.. this just shows some serious lack of organization) The next time we saw her, she finally brought the beer that I had ordered from another waitress when our food was delivered.

The food was the only positive part of this venture. I had the chicken curry, and it was savory and delicious. The roasted potatoes were perfect, and the chicken was tender.

Terrible prices. Terrible service at the front of the house. Terrible table service. This place might be great if you can wedge yourself in at the bar on a Wednesday afternoon, but .. until they get a ringmaster, or a staff willing to share the burden of a busy evening, I'd recommend...

I was craving some traditional Irish food, so I figured I would try out this pub. The atmosphere is really nice. Everything is wood, and this building has obviously been around for a very long time.Heather and Justin( the owners) were in when I got there for lunch, two of the friendliest, warmhearted people I have met. Everything on the menu was tempting but today I did the bangers and mash. This order comes with cabbage as well, that’s cooked with bacon. All I can say as WOW. Every bite Was superb and left me looking forward to the next. I haven’t had a meal like this in a long time. It turns out that they have their bangers made especially for the pub. The mashed potatoes and gravy were perfect. The cabbage was soft and flavorful everything paired so well. Normally I don’t clean my plate, but this time I did, and was left, full and satisfied. (turns out everything is made from scratch) They have a dessert which is called a “plum duff” it’s a bread pudding type dessert, However, it’s made from donuts. I think they use Myers rum in making this dish, Once again, I was not disappointed. This was another amazing dish that I gobbling up and I ate way more than I should have, but it was so worth it. I look forward to going back and trying other things on their menu. It’s a good thing I don’t live close by, because I could definitely see spending a lot of my free time there. And not to forget the chef Bill… well done,...

I was beyond impressed by the food here. I was expecting typical bar food with an Irish twist, but what they delivered was a taste lovers treat.

The combination of flavors was incredibly well thought out and executed upon.

The Irish stew is a staple and they got it spot on. Comforting, savory, and balanced.

It came with soda bread, which was a first for me, and I'm hooked. So so good.

The wings, (i did get them twice cooked on purpose) were perfect. Crunchy outside, tender inside. There are three flavors, bbq, teriyaki, and spicy. We went spicy and it was delicious. Hot up front but cools quickly and doesn't linger.

And the Blarney burger stole the show. I'd go as far as saying top five burger I've had in all of Oregon. Absolutely epic burger, but you better bring your A game, it's no small feat. My buddy had to share it with me as it was too big for his baby stomach. Covered in pastrami, sour krout, and cheese, this thing was a blast for the pallet. Seriously, I'm considering going back today to get it for myself.

Also, the live music didn't hurt either. Great experience, will definitely be a...

A cozy Irish pub with good food and atmosphere and great bartenders! The Reuben was great but a little dry. Bartender was happy to add extra sauce and did not charge for the extra (thank you). The Sheppards Pie had a great flavor and the coleslaw was well above average (per the person who ate that). 4 stars because there are some things that should not be charged for, like $2 for a slice of rye bread (2-pieces) to sop up the rest of the Paddy's Reuben Dip. The dip had an awesome reuben flavor though it was a little soupy and hard to not dribble off the bread and onto your hand and lap, hence the need for extra bread. Downstairs was a bit crowded with the tables. The old shuffleboard table is not usable as the varnish has worn off. A few people tried to play it with no success. I recommend the upstairs bathroom (even though I did not see it) because the downstairs bathroom doubles as the utility room and as such was not the best bathroom. All-in-all this is a great pub we will return to.

Waited 30 minutes to order, last called happened, then they seemed to have forgotten our food. So we waited another 30 minutes. The man working was very friendly and apologetic. He wasn’t the issue and didn’t take our order. When we finally got our food, not really even hungry anymore. We got some very “mid” food, not usual for here. The chicken wings still had feathers on them. So we threw out the entire order of food once we got home, because they “had to put them in Togo boxes” even though we ordered well before closing(1 hour). Super disappointed and would like my money back.

Update June 2024 - Visited for a drink and it was Friday evening and they had a live band playing on the back yard. It was a nice evening and it was fairly busy. We sat outside and it was nice. I ended up getting drinks from the bar tender inside as the servers where busy and we had been waiting for five minutes or so. A sever did finally come by but my wife told him I was inside getting drinks. +-+++++++++++++++++ Great place for a socially distant beer or pub food. Great service staff and plenty of outdoor seating.
