The Foundry at Oswego Pointe — Attraction in Lake Oswego

What a beautiful venue! We had a great time at our friend's wedding this Sunday. Plenty of convenient parking, an elevator near the staircase, clean bathrooms up and downstairs, gorgeous river views all along the balconies, walkways, park accesses and even from inside the reception area from the large bay windows that line the entire length of the room. The coordinator was friendly and helpful. I saw the photographer got what looked like will be some great shots and heard that he often works with this venue which may be why he was so familiar with with the area, natural spaces, lighting, was able to get the spontaneous shots from harder to capture kids (this bride now has 8 all together!) This was one of those weddings where the dance floor was being used the entire time, great music, so much fun! I would just highly recommend this place to anyone looking around Lake Oswego, Oregon area. We just really enjoyed ourselves! BEWARE! The staff here is incredibly disrespectful, unprofessional and RUDE. I was the Maid of Honor for 2 weddings at The Foundry this year, and the venue staff and bartenders were rude and UNPROFESSIONAL on both occasions. I was so appalled - the people who work here are absolute nightmares. A staff member INAPPROPRIATELY TOUCHED ME to get my attention, and was so aggressive and unpleasant to me and my party! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Please please please take your business elsewhere for your special day unless you want your friends and family to be disrespected!!! Avoid at all costs! The views and the venue itself are very underwhelming (if you love brown river water, ugly architecture, terrible speaker systems, and nasty bathrooms, this place is for you). We would like to thank you for all that you did Sunday to make our reception at The Foundry such a fantastic night. Even though weather was so hot everyone had such a wonderful time, and we received many compliments about what an incredible venue it was. Many of our guests didn’t know about The Foundry and were blown away by the setting and how nice it was.

More importantly, your personal attention to the bride and groom throughout the entire evening was so calming and comforting to them. You were always there for them but not in an overbearing manner which helped to make it a stress-free event. They were able to relax and have such a wonderful time because of your attention to detail and assistance. You did so many little things right like suggesting to them to take a few minutes upon arrival to take a deep breath and relax before the introduction.
