In 2019 my mother was seen and treated in the emergency department of a local hospital. During that visit she was diagnosed with a kidney stone, and despite her abnormal lab results indicating a possible infection, she was discharged home. Two days later she was in a coma in the ICU dying from septic shock- a systemic infection that originated in her kidney and spread to her bloodstream. Her chances of survival were slim to none but miraculously she survived. Unfortunately, the damage septic shock caused to her body had already been done and she needed to have amputations of her necrotic feet, hand, and fingertips. Her physical pain, mental anguish, and long term suffering could have potentially been prevented if the infection had been properly diagnosed and treated in the emergency department two days prior.

This heartbreaking event is what lead us to seek out legal representation with Paulson and Coletti Trial Attorneys PC.

Jane and her assistant Jenny were an absolute pleasure to work with. Jenny kept in frequent communication with me through emails and answered all my questions throughout the whole process.
