Foothills Park — Attraction in Lake Oswego

I decided to walk around the foothills. I had been there once before. I found a Stonehenge-like structure with quotes on it. I hadn't noticed it before. I took out my guitar and played to a fallen tree and its surroundings. The leaves looked like they were clapping to some of my songs. Birds were also part of my audience. They would notice when I erred and let me know it. The purity of God's voice speaking to me was evident. My voice and guitar playing was vascilating between ok and pretty damn good. And my surroundings let me know both good and bad. Once in a awhile a person , couple , or parent and child would walk by or sit at a bench nearby. I didn't face them, but I sometimes knew when they were there. There was an occasional kayaker or boat on the water going by. I wondered if the sound was reaching them. I wonder if my noise is for anyone's ears to hear but mine and God's. It's...

We love this park!

They have everything here from bocce ball courts to large glass areas to play to water features, a dock where you can go down to the water, and an overlook point that’s covered with a shade sale to view the boats, kayakers, rowers, and action sports all passing by.

It’s a very large area and always has ample room for parking which makes it easy and convenient when trying to visit the river. We’ve also gotten on our friends boats here when they pick us up as it’s an easy meeting point on the river.

We also use this area for the father’s association for our kids school since they’re covered eating areas and areas to collect that are outdoors and easy to keep our space...

On Saturday afternoon, My friends and I rowed up on our kayaks/scanoe of. Sitting here at foothills park its quiet and really nice. Just watching bees and wasps fight. Bunch of Pokemon GO people😖 there was a kids party with a few bounce houses. If you have an event here, You probably have to rent out the covered area. There are about 10 small black tables with 4 seats. There is a little river thing, not sure if you can play in it. But I would deff play in it. The lookout deck is beautiful to watch boats go by. Paved pathways nice to ride bikes or walk a stroller. Very nice park to take children to walk or play in the grass. Where I am sitting, I do not see...
