Seriously?!! Come on, this is a fine dining restaurant very unprofessional! Feels like roadside diner gives better service! BC’s Kitchen meals cost way more than Diner but for “ranch” charges extra! And kid’s meal come with soda or drink, not even told us that if kid wants a root beer will be an extra $4.00!!! Yes it’s only $0.50 for ranch and $4.00 for root beer but the Principle!!! $10.00 kid’s meal + $4.00 root bear = adult meal!! On top of it our server not even bother to tell us about kid’s meal “ice cream dessert” supposed to come with it! Cheated and ripped off, is that your policy to not telling the customer if any extra charges??? Because we asked, why not tell us?!! And is that your policy to charge soda extra on kid’s meal but it’s OK to not give their desserts even that all written clearly on your kid’s menu?!! Is this how BC’s Kitchen runs? Be careful guys, don’t forget ask them for everything you want during place your order unless you want them to charge you whatever and however they like!!! And don’t forget your kid’s dessert too because they will not being honest tell you or ask you!

BC’s has long been a family favorite for lunch or dinner. Their outside dining is quite pleasant when the weather cooperates. The Happy Hour menu will leave your appetite satisfied by 6pm. We generally order from the weekly “Seasonal Features” which typically includes a soup, salad, entree and drink specials. Alternately, their regular menu contains awesome standards such as salads, burgers/sandwiches and pizza along with full entrees. **** Desserts **** All their desserts are fantastic, carrot cake is our favorite. Often they prepare homemade ice cream. During the Christmas Season they make homemade egg-nog that usually sells out early.

Stopped in for dinner. I had never been there and always wanted to try it. Our appetizer, pretzels and pita bread with cheese, was great. Main courses came out and were less than great. I had the French dip. It was dry and loaded with crispy onions. My wife had the Sunday Special Amish Half Chicken. It seemed over cooked and like the fry oil was burnt. Was about an hour or more from time we were seated till finished eating. The whole time we had to swat at flies and gnats. They were landing in the food and drinks. I don’t believe we’ll be back. Better options in the area, especially for what it costs.

In leu of all the fantastic reviews, my family decided on BC’s Kitchen for dinner. We quickly realized that was a huge mistake. Our server didn’t greet us for at least 10 minutes. And when she finally did decide to greet us and take our drink order, she seemed very impatient. Another 10 minutes went by and we finally received our drinks. She then rushed to take our order. After about 25 minutes, we finally received our appetizers. We order the crab Rangoon dip as well as the famous nachos. While the nachos were okay, the crab dip was nearly inedible. Another 25 minutes or so went by and we finally received our salads. At this point we had been there for over an hour and watched other families come and go. Our server never came to inform us on what was going on. We had to call her over and ask her what the deal was. We then asked to speak to a manager and she said she had already had her on her way. After another 5 minutes the manager finally came by. She told us she knew how long we were there and assured us the food would be out shortly. At this point neither the server or manager apologized or seemed to have any regard for what was happening. We wait another 20 minutes or so and decided that after being there for nearly 2 hours without even receiving our meal yet, that we were ready to go and asked for the manager to have them box up the food so we could leave. The manager insisted we stay. As you can imagine, we were very upset. Our bill was $145 and we hadn’t even received our food. The manager went and spoke to the server, forgetting we could see the entire interaction and the 5-7 workers standing next to our server and the manager started to stare at us and roll their eyes. The manager brought us our food and my grandmother told her she was very disappointed and unhappy with the arrogance and awful service and the manager got upset. She left with our bill and never came back. The server and the manager refused to come back and sent someone else to return our card and receipt. We left and attempted to eat our meal at home. Upon unboxing I noticed my girl friends filet was extremely small, so I weighed it and the 6oz filet she ordered was barely 4oz. The filet was also suppose to be prepared medium and instead she received well done. The outside was so burnt that it couldn’t even be chewed. I ordered the full rack of ribs and they were so over cooked that I couldn’t eat it. The Mac and cheese was horrible. The fries were completely cold and soggy (we live 2 minutes away so the food should have still been hot) it was honestly the worse meal I’ve had in a long time. To sum it up, I wouldn’t recommend anyone eat here, ever. You’d be better off going to Mc Donald’s. The service was absolutely disgusting. My family dines at upscale restaurants frequently and has no issue paying a higher price for a good meal, but this restaurant is an...

I will start this review by saying we ate her for my birthday and had an amazing experience. I made reservations for my daughter and I and 2 other mom's and their daughters. I requested the alcove little private room off the bar. I called and confirmed our reservation. We arrived and we were sat all the way in the back of the restaurant behind a wall. I spoke to the hostess and she said that they were not seating the alcoves that night :( My daughter ordered the cheese pizza and tomato soup, myself and a friend ordered the pasta, another friends ordered the salmon, and the two other girls ordered the filet. We had to walk up to the kitchen to ask for enough bread plates for everyone. Then we had to ask for a spoon for the soup, again at the kitchen window. My friend's salmon was cold. Our grilled garlic bread was cold, the filet that were ordered medium well came out rare. Our waitress did come and check and she confirmed that these were rare and she would have her manager comp us. We waited an additional 20 minute for the steaks to cook while their sides grew cold. We got our bill and it was almost $400 and we asked about the comp and she said she could give the girls dessert. We said we already had plans to get Crumbl Cookies and did not want dessert. They took $3.50 off our bill. I felt so embarrassed for recommending this restaurant! Please take my advice....DO NOT HERE! BTW....this is the first time I have ever written a review for a restaurant...that is how BAD our...

Pretty horrible service we received at this restaurant. This is a place for people from North County to reminisce about the " old days" as they live in their condos and vinyl sided houses in the area.. many are 3-4 payments away from foreclosure. my point being this restaurant is nice for the area in which resides. However, it would not survive alomgside restaurants in the St. Louis area. The other location also by an outdated mall, yet is a lot better . during our service we never received refills for drinks and the waiter was quite young and he had a pretty bad attitude towards all the tables around us. The area has been decimated by overdevelopment and the people that are dining at this restaurant typically have no respect for their environment or others because they're not from the area . This includes the staff and all the surrounding businesses in the area such as nisc, MasterCard and others. calling this restaurant upscale will be like calling a trailer park adjacent to a golf course "upscale". Above all , honestly the food really is not good . I am trying to figure out how the staff at international House of pancakes treat people better than people at this establishment, which charges three or four times the price... what a bad experience at...
