Clementine's Naughty & Nice Ice Cream — Restaurant in Lake Saint Louis

I have to say, it was very sad to see The Meadows today, as it appears to be suffering (I haven’t visited since before the pandemic), but Clementine’s was absolutely lovely!

Today’s visit was not at all planned, as we were just out exploring, really, and we hadn’t seen The Meadows, our once favorite mall, in years. When we saw Clementine’s, we stopped right away. My family of 5 each got a scoop of something different, and each flavor was absolutely delicious!! Even my toddler, who is very selective about ice cream, selected, then ate nearly every bit of a scoop of Blue Moon plus a fancy cone that looked like it had sprinkles baked into it.

Before you go, know that there are “nice” scoops, which are traditional with non-traditional, but definitely delicious flavor options, and “naughty” scoops, which you have to be 21+ to order because they contain alcohol. My husband and I don’t drink at all, so we weren’t interested in the “naughty” treats, but we appreciate how fun those options are, and they do all sound very yummy!

In spite of the somewhat depressing state of The Meadows, we will absolutely be returning to Clementine’s soon to try something new! And, I will take photos next time because it’s absolutely a photo-worthy...

We came in for the first time tonight and we were blown away by the texture and flavor of all the ice cream we got! Between myself and my boyfriend we tried honey lavender, white chocolate geranium, bee the change, Italian butter cookie, and gooey butter. Every bite was packed with flavor and the floral flavors were so strong and beautiful! The waffle bowls were also very fresh and the staff seemed upbeat and friendly.

I'm honestly shocked anyone reviewed this place with less than five stars. I laughed out loud at the person who complained their ice cream melted. We didn't have any issues with ours getting too soft even after the 15 minutes we spent eating it. But even if it does melt... It's ice cream! Comes with the territory.

We didn't get any adult ice cream, but I felt the prices were very reasonable. We paid $7.50 for three scoops of (delicious) ice cream in a waffle bowl - the scoops alone were $6.50. I thought the price was very fair for the quality - if you want cheap disappointing ice cream go get it...

I visited Clementine's for the first time at their Lake Saint Louis grand opening, and it did not disappoint! It was understandably busy when I went, with 10-15 people ahead of me in line when I arrived. The line moved at a good pace, giving me plenty of time to check out the menu while I waited. The employees were friendly and helpful, making sure to ask customers if they had any questions about the menu. The selection of ice cream flavors was somewhat limited on this first day, but I suppose that will just grow with time. I decided to splurge on a waffle bowl, and two of my favorite ice cream flavors - gooey butter cake and dark chocolate! There is plenty of seating both inside and outside the shop. Located right in the center of a great outdoor shopping mall, I imagine it will stay pretty busy! I can't wait for...
