This place came highly recommended as a go to take away for killer Chicago pizza( not stuffed casserole pizza called Chicago style) we called ahead and it was almost done when we got there 15 minutes later. Its bi-lingiual and very friendly. They sell slices reasonable but the pies themselves are a bit pricey 29+ for a jumbo. The large medium and small are quite competitive. The toppings are fresh and plentiful cheese is lush and spread lovingly across the whole spectrum. The sauce pure Chicago and not over sweet. Just delicious. We are from Indiana and it will be worth driving 35 miles each way for this. I know a family who drives over 50. Remember this is a very small take out not a huge eat in restraunt. It will be made to go. There is no place to sit so be prepared to eat a lot in the car on the way home. Dang this is good stuff. There are also numerous reasonable dinners and sandwiches available. There is minimal parking and Pulaski is a busy street so time yourself. It is worth EVERY nuance I promise and definitely one of the best...
Read moreUnfortunately had a bad experience with delivery. Ordered a pizza for delivery at around 6:30pm with estimated delivery time within 1 hour. 8 pm comes around, no pizza, so we called for a status update but were told the delivery driver attempted to make the delivery and knocked on the door but no one answered (mind you we were home and no one knocked, rang the doorbell or called). We were put on hold, I’m guessing while they contacted the driver, they then tell us the driver is around the corner and they’ll attempt delivery again. While waiting in the living room, we see someone pull up in front of the house and wait there for a few minutes but then drive off. Obviously can’t say for sure that was in fact the delivery driver, but what I can say for sure is that we never...
Read moreI have tried both, the regular and the deep dish/stiffed, the pizza isn't bad, but once they sent me a thin crust when i ordered a regular, and whenever i order stuffed, their stuffed doesn't have a top crust which is the physical difference between stuffed and deep dish pizza pie-- on top of that, they once told me there were no nachos ( i have several menus with nachos for 2.95 on them--so a lazy cook is unacceptable, and last year they changed the prices on the regular pizzas -- and on several occasions, they had to adjust the final charge because for some reason they keep trying to overcharge by $1.00-- when i am paying cash not with credit.. The pizza is okay, the prices aren't terrible, but this isn't Giordano's downtown and you are not going to get...
