El nuevo Guadalajara — Restaurant in Lake Township

Went in around 745 pm to have dinner. I want to say that the food was good, ordered a steak burrito and the cecina estilo Guerrero. The cecina plate was $20 and only had one piece of cecina which that meat is already thin. For the same price, the two La Quebrada restaurants in Chicago will give you more and they even hand make the tortillas they give you. Second when I asked what the burrito toppings were, the waitress said lettuce on top. Like am i supposed to just imagine or prompt what the burrito has???? After saying I’m confused she’s like we can make it however you want. Aside from that when we got seated the waitress just stood over us for like 7 minutes staring at us and chewing her gum super loud. We were the only ones there. Then as we ate she sat at a nearby table and just like waited there. And when we paid, I’m trying to gather my toddler who wasn’t even done eating yet she’s standing right there at the table with cleaning supplies in hand. I literally walked out with his taco in my hand because she clearly needed to clean the table. I felt like I was being pranked?? Such a weird service experience but overall tasty food. However there were gnats flying around our table, musty air and no soap in bathroom. Not going there again. It feels weird to sit down, get a weird vibe and just leave but I’ll for sure exercise that option...

Pase un día y vi este restaurante, dije esta vacío no a de estar bueno. Pero luego pensé mejor voy y haber que.

El restaurante está bonito por dentro la decoración está padre. Solo aceptan enefectivo osea CA$H. Y para cabarla tienen caja de ATM pero no estaba trabajando 🤪.

Pero bueno, lo bueno que mi pareja siempre tiene dinero.

Ordenamos yo tenia ganas de flautas, la mesera muy bien, amable, le preguntamos preguntas y no sabia la respuesta iba preguntaba y regresaba para dejar nos saber.

Bueno mi platillo de flautas, muy buenas, acompañadas con arroz y frijoles fritos. Si lo recomiendo

Mi pareja comio un burrito 🌯 de cabeza, que también le gustó.

Pedí una Michelada y la verdad a mi no me gustó.

A y no tienen aguas frescas (horchata, Jamaica etc..)

Si regresaría por que nos gustó la comida y la cantidad...

Amazing place. The only bar I know where they have karaoke and a kitchen that stays open past midnight. Decent quality traditional...
