ALDI — Local services in Lake Township

The manager Maria at the 47 St 60609 Chicago is very nice and polite. However, I cannot say the same about the cashiers. They all have a terrible attitudes . They speak to customers as if they are given them stuff for free or as if they’re doing us “THE CUSTOMERS” a favor!! They seem to always be bothered when anyone asks for help. Today one of the cashiers yield al all the customers to make two lanes and not one.I politely said, you should’ve mentioned that to us when you were walking, the cashier said “I just DID with the worst attitude and just plain RUDE! !” She spoke to all the clients on the line as if we were idiots and didn’t understand what she was saying. When I asked to speak to a manager the cashier laughed seemed very ironic as if it want I big deal.

I think it is completely unacceptable that Also hires cashiers that do not have any customer service skills and that just CANNOT handle working with the public !! Especially considering “WE” the customers is what keeps the...

Aldi's is a local favorite of mine. They have a wide variety of foods from all over the world. I buy produce there as well as some meats among many other food items. The prices are very reasonable and the goods are quality. They are starting to carry more name brand food items now which are much higher as well as incorporating household items instead of just grocery. Almost ALL products carry GMO's there now. It didn't used to be this way. Now, it's rare to find something without a bioengineered food ingredient. Overall, I still love Aldi and will continue...

This Aldi is subpar compared to others in the area. We passed by because it was on the way home, but big mistake! Although all of the workers are nice and welcoming, there's disorganization here big-time! Another thing that didn't sit well with us were all of the fruit flies/nats flying around all through the produce section!!! It seemed pretty disgusting since you would move an item and swarms of them would start to fly around. A majority of our groceries needed was produce and we passed that isle completely.
