Closed Loop Farms — Attraction in Lake Township

I've had the privilege of working with Closed Loop Farms, and Adam in particular over the past years, starting when they began business many years ago. Their product was fresh, delicious and a perfect match for several dishes I had at my restaurant. Besides that, their efforts to create a sustainable, eco friendly business model is something to be highly commended, much needed, and it is thrilling to see the growth in variety and selection of their fantastic micro herbs, shoots, and greens. It has been an honor to work with Adam and staff. They work very hard to provide exactly what each customer needs in a truly professional, personable, and respectful manner. If you are looking to expand your healthy eating options in the most delicious way, while helping our planet, I can't recommend Closed Loop Farms highly enough as a way to do that. I’ve bought their microgreens at sales at @theplantchicago @whinerbrewing and they are the best I’ve ever tasted, even with no accompaniment: no dressing, no cheese/nuts/toppings of any sort. Just the natural, rich, semi-sweet taste was surprisingly super.

Tonight I had some more, this time with some other stuff mixed in (carrots, cheese, very mild dressing of some sort), and it was even better.

Closed Loop Farms is the best new addition to our meals! The microgreens are delicious as well as so healthy and they stay fresh for days. We now add them to everything—salads, sandwiches, on top of omelettes. And the available weekly add ons are a treat and a wonderful way to eat and support local providers—cheese, bread, dressings, seasonal produce.
