I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Patron in Garfield Ridge, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant's cozy and vibrant ambiance set the perfect tone for a delightful meal. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Pastor Tacos. These tacos were nothing short of a flavor explosion in every bite. The taste was a harmonious blend of smoky, savory, and slightly tangy flavors, with a hint of spice that danced on my taste buds. The marinated pork was tender and succulent, perfectly cooked to deliver a mouthwatering experience. The Onion garnish added a refreshing sweetness that balanced out the richness of the meat. Texture-wise, the Pastor Tacos were a delight. The meat had a delightful char on the edges, offering a satisfying crunch that contrasted beautifully with the tender interior. The tortillas were soft and warm, providing a comforting base for the flavorful filling. El Patron truly excels in capturing the essence of authentic Mexican cuisine, and their Pastor Tacos are a testament to their culinary prowess. The friendly and attentive staff made my dining experience even more enjoyable. I can't wait to return and savor these tacos again. Whether you're a die-hard taco enthusiast or simply looking for an unforgettable dining experience, I wholeheartedly recommend El Patron in Garfield Ridge. It's a hidden gem that deserves to...
Read moreHave being going there both for lunch and carry out several times over the years and I have to say it has gone from good, to ok to just sad. I thought I was crazy but after reading other reviews I see the consistency. Patron staff/owners wake up before you go out of business. My daughter ordered a torta with avocado: When I picked up and was charged 10 dollars (9.79) I questioned what she had ordered, they said a torta with avocado which was $2.00- now I guess, you want avocado you pay for it, and I did. As I was carrying out my bag it felt really light, light enough for me to open on the spot. I had bread, very little meat and literally 1 and 1/2 slice(very thin) slice of avocado. I walked to the staff and "politely" said "I don't mean to be petty but if I am paying $2.00 for avocado, is this really enough? She agreed and said I will have them fix it, I concluded to say "even the mea..." when she cut me off and said the portions of the meat are pre-measured. "how did she know what I was going to say, I wonder.. I settled for what I was getting the extra avocado, however as she handed the bag to me she literally stated and I QUOTE "MAYBE NEXT TIME SHE SHOULDN'T ORDER THE AVOCADO" I wasn't looking for an apology a free meal, just what I paid for. I didn't even react to that comment! But Wow. They say, never say never but I will...
Read moreThe worst restaurant that my family and I have been too. The absolute worst experience. I entered and the young waiters did not greet nor came to see us. They completely ignored us. They do not know a single thing of customer service and how critical it is. We waited for 10 minutes. Another family came in, not only did they also wait for service, but the waitress came to them first with the menus. Then when my dad called her over to ask for our menus, she had a terrible attitude. I went to the bathroom and she mentioned the bathroom was disgusting as if no one had cleaned it for weeks! We received the menus from another young waiter who treated us poorly. We decided to leave before our food because we were flustered with the poor customer service. As we left, my dad stopped to tell the two waiters how awful service. I received the same terrible attitude. Worst customer service experience. Now I understand why there are waiters wanted there. If the managers themselves cannot provide decent service, I can only imagine the kinds of waiters that will be hired for more poor service. I highly do NOT...
