I did a Quince in the basement of this place! Recomended by someone. They charged me a fair price for six hours which was great. They gave me 3 dishes +1 for the kids and it all tasted great!! Kudos to the chef! The basement had some mirrors on the walls and it had a small dance floor, great for intimate parties. However I did have a few problems that were pretty major for me. When looking at the hall the manager, Carlos seemed nice and told us of course he'll let us taste the food after we paid for the hall, cause they were busy. We did taste the food but we paid for it because he never put in our order or told the servers. The evening of the party ,my DJ couldn't set up, the power in the basement wasn't sufficient enough. We knew this because the lights kept flickering and several of them were even out, we brought it up to Carlos and he offered a Bluetooth speaker. I told him that I paid for a DJ and it was unacceptable for a Quince. I wanted to speak to his boss. After some time debating, the owner showed up and blamed the DJ equipment. He even told me that if he called his electrician and is not the basement that I must pay for his electrian. He assured that there's always big parties down there and it's not the power outlets in the ballroom.. By this time is been 1.5hrs with music cutting in and out and I was frustrated. I wanted at least the Dj money back. They refused and said it wasn't there problem. I assured them that I would write a review, Someone suggested they try the outlet in the ladies restroom, they plugged an extension cord to the ladies bathroom, which wasn't clean and problem solved, the music didn't cut off after that. I didn't get an apology. I told them thank you cause I finally have music and they left. Later for the toast we wanted to buy a bottle, to toast the birthday girl and they gifted us four bottle of wine for the trouble I suppose. Everything was great except the attitude of the manager and owner of the place who seemed to have a lack of understanding to our problem as well as a owners always right attitude. The most helpful staff member was the bartender who called for the food to come down, set up an extra table, helped bag food for guest and got everyone drunk!! For someone who is in a rush the price was ok. Food was great, hall color wasn't the greatest but worked, maintenance could've been better, owner is a macho man and manager instead of apologizing for the incident, at the end he refused the tip. He was clearly still upset and so i just left. I was mostly upset that I let my anger get the better of me as I was forced to raise my voice to the owner for his macho man attitude and threatening demeanor on such a...

Went to this restaurant on Saturday, and the waitress was terrible...very young and didn't know if she wanted to talk to us in English or Spanish. In addition, I asked her if the flautas de pollo were made with strictly chicken breast or all parts of the chicken. Her answer was that they're made with shredded chicken. That wasn't my question! She then had to ask another waitress that said they only use chicken breast. Even after I ordered them, I decided to change my order. That's my right, correct? Well, she seemed put off that I did that. I ordered the enchiladas de picadillo, and she proceeded to tell me that she didn't think they made them with that. I told her that it was on the menu. When she went back to check, she never came back to tell me if they could make them like that or not, so what was I getting? Chicken flautas or enchiladas de picadillo? She never came back to ask us if we wanted refills on our drinks, which we did. When the another waitress brought our food out (oh, ok, so they did have enchiladas de picadillo), I asked her NOT to send the young waitress with the trensa to our table again because I had had enough of her. She said ok, was very polite, and asked us if we wanted refills. Just when I was starting to feel better about the situation, I took a bite of my food, and YES, it was cold!!!! I sucked it up and ate what I could considering my frustration, and before I knew it "trensa" girl was at our table asking if everything was ok. I gave her a one-word answer - YES and turned away. She proceeded to tell me that she was told that there was a problem. When I told her why I was frustrated, she proceeded to tell me that all of the waitress attend everyone and share the tips. Who said anything about the tip??? That wasn't the point. The point was your TERRIBLE SERVICE, girlfriend!!! I then told her that I had asked that she not come to my table anymore and didn't understand why she was in front of me. She got red in the face, and I could tell she wanted to say more than the "that's fine" she did say. She then walked away, and that was that. This place sucks - service, food, and overall experience was very upsetting. No tip left and don't plan to every go...

If you are looking for good Mexican food with a great vibe, this is the place to be. Bring your family and friends to El Tarasco located in Archer Heights. I’ve been coming here since 2016, every time I get something different and Every time I get blow away by how good the food is. The first time i came here i was wondering around the neighborhood looking for a place to eat and found this Mexican restaurant around the corner from the park. I walked in and I was welcomed by the friendly staff and they sat me right away. I was amazed by the theme of the restaurant, butterflies everywhere and a beautiful mural of the Island of Janitzio right in the entrance, the walls were really fun to look at and every-time i come back i find something new. My order was simple, I ordered one large Horchata and 3 Al pastor Tacos with everything and let me tell you, it was astonishing with so much flavor. The Horchata was cold and creamy, it's perfect for my tastebuds. The tacos had lots of meat on them and they were so delicious. The salsas had so much taste, the spiciness of the salsa complimented the sweet of the Al pastor tacos. Overall the experience was phenomenal and the prices were average. This is a place i will recommend. If you are looking for something fast and good this is...

The prices are great and the murals on the walls are fun to look at. The breakfast specials at 3.99 you cannot beat, now that's before 11 am. We went at 1130 and I went with the chorizo omelette, husband went vegetarian and my daughter had steak tacos. The salsa was spice, not the greatest flavor but it had a kick. I prefer green so I went with the squeeze bottle provided on the table. I always judge a place by the beans and the beans were ok. Not much flavor. The service took a while and it wasnt that crowded so be prepared to wait a bit. It was handicapped accessible so that made it worth it because most places have a step and my girl cant get the power chair thru the door, so if you are disabled they have tables up front we fit at perfectly. We will be going back. Oh yes, they have a parking lot too. Didnt use the bathroom.

I have been coming to this restaurant for a very very long time!!! The waitresses are sooo sweet. They make sure you have everything you need and are enjoying your food. I especially love it here because my boyfriend absolutely loves seafood however I’m not a big fan so their menu allows us to both enjoy with such a large variety! They also serve alcohol here. I 1000% recommended trying a Michelada with your favorite beer!!! Go here don’t look any further!!

My mom brought me here and we got sopes de asada. I got so full with one, they’re huge! The salsa’s they provided for the sopes were good! The chips and salsa were good too, not salty and not bland. The salsa was a little spicy but I love spicy so it was perfect for me and not so much for others. The fries were good. My mom loves the Jamaica from here and the Coke I got was great as well!! Definitely coming back and bringing my bf so we can try the drinks!!
