After driving past Burrito Grande countless times, I finally decided to stop in and now I’m wondering why I waited so long. From the moment I walked through the door, the place felt inviting, with a cozy, no-nonsense vibe that let you know the focus here is all about the food. Friendly staff greeted me right away, and I could tell this was a local gem that takes pride in what they serve.

Naturally, I had to order their signature burrito and true to its name, it was grande. This wasn’t just big in size, it was big in flavor. The tortilla was warm, soft, and perfectly grilled with no chewy, leftover edges like you sometimes find in oversized burritos. Every bite was tender, juicy, and well-balanced. The meat was seasoned beautifully, moist and flavorful, layered with beans and fresh toppings that came together in perfect harmony.

But the real standout was the red smoky salsa. It had just the right amount of heat and depth, adding a subtle kick without overpowering the dish. Honestly, this place has generous portions for the price you pay. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. My favorite was the horchata. I would have loved to have given this place 5 stars, but I subtracted two stars for lack of flavor. I don't know if I just so happened to come in on a bad day, but when we got our very generously portioned burritos (I had chicken, my S/O had carne asada) we both thought our burritos were very bland and lacked flavor. It's like the meats weren't even seasoned, not even with salt. We exchanged burritos and noticed it was both of them, not on or the other. I had ordered for take out on my way home from work and I called the restaurant to see if they would still be able to take my order for pick up knowing that they would close in 25 min the young lady said yes has long has I didn’t drag to pick it up wich I was a block away when I got there I felt weird and awkward this lady and this guy were just giving me a stare down with an attitude when trying to pay when I got home everything smelled delicious but the meat was very hard it was reheated to much my kids weren’t even able to eat it nor even my self or my wife if they didn’t want to make the order cause they were about to close they should off said so and I would off honestly understand but I’ll make sure to never again order...
