Guide's Sports Bar — Restaurant in Lake Township

I used to come here all the time wanted to come for hawks game just become of wings. The bouncer was very rude asked of I was staying for game and grabbed my hand without telling me why to mark it. I noticed they weren't letting anymore people in and I asked him why he said there can be noone standing.so the woman next to me left I asked bartender if they were gone so my friend could come she said bouncer told her they were in the bathroom. So I asked bouncer he said I don't know. The women didn't come back. So I claimed a chair for my friend. The bouncer then came to take it for a table I noticed he had been taking chairs for. I said I have a friend coming . He said you have five minutes I said I thought customer was in bathroom and he tells me no shes been gone. I noticed he did this to other non regular customers. He would take their chairs for friends but he let people he knew even if they didn't reserve tables take chairs. Plus he didn't even give me 5 minutes. 2 girls he knew came in and he grabbed the chair while my leg and stuff was on it. I will not be going back as long as he's here. I have spent big money there over the years and been to family functions there. No more. I'd rather go to a sports bar where I am treated with respect. Not like a loser cause I don't know...

Update: previously 3 stars, now 0 if I could. Just finding out that the not so attentive waitress gave me someone else's debit card and I have a few transactions from whoever she gave my debit card to. Sure I should have checked the details but I think I'll just take my business where the people taking my money where people aren't messing it up to begin with.

Short summary: Eh.

Details: Decent bar food. Cocktails are very unimpressive. Good place to stop in & have a beer though. Definitely at the top of your millennial jukebox (touchtunes) pubs. Service is fine, they're polite but not friendly or outgoing. Typically around 30 patrons, sufficient seating and spacing between them, decent bar seating, enough TVs. Free parking behind the building.

Who should go: People who want to have casual food/beer over a conversation...

Beware! Bartender asks for credit card. I say I'm paying cash, she says still need it to keep on file still need it...huh?! No nope uh uh not gonna happen. why? last time I did use card, ran tab, had amazing wings and pizzas (only reason I added a star) it was two of us , paid next day I see an "automatic 18% tip" added to my bill. This time I was curious why automatic . bartender said anything over $40 register is set up to charge 18% tip and if I had problem with that!! I am all about tipping for great service but imposing a tip on an individual..not a group of 6+. is outright wrong. so BEWARE your card is on file a I was told . and service is...
