We just can't stay away! The food at Kairos is simply irresistible. This restaurant has consistently blown us away with its incredible dishes. Over the past four years, it's become a cherished spot for me. Located in Chicago, it's my go-to destination for mouthwatering tacos. The service here is top-notch, with staff fluent in both English and Spanish, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Kairos offers a diverse menu, featuring everything from tacos and burritos to hearty dinner plates. And let's talk about their homemade salsa--it's phenomenal! Served piping hot, it's just one of the many reasons I keep returning. But the real star of the show? The tortillas, made right before your eyes. Each bite of their Al Pastor and Asada tacos is a burst of flavor. And those homemade tortillas? They're pure perfection. To wash it all down, the Large Horchata is a must-try. Sweet, refreshing, and oh-so-filling--it's the ideal complement to the savory dishes. But what truly sets Kairos apart is its ability to transport you with every bite. Each taste brings me back to Mexico, evoking memories of authentic flavors and warm hospitality. For anyone new in town or simply looking to indulge in authentic Mexican cuisine, Kairos is a must-visit. Trust me--you won't be...

It comes with a bowl of pinto bean soup that has basic ingredients but is a perfect companion dish to go along with the steak. Great Food and Service. I could not say a negative thing about my visits. On my first visit I had the Ranch Steak, and my wife had the Tampiquiena and both were perfect. The rice and beans on her plate and the rice and salad on my plate tasted great. The hand made tortillas are a treat that not enough restaurants offer. I wish Google would delete negative reviews that do not elaborate the reason for being unhappy and post...
Read moreEasily the worst tacos I've bought from a restaurant in Chicago. Most of the authentic taquerias have chicken tacos that have moist, pulled chicken breast meat. The chicken tacos here consisted of large pieces of chopped, dry chicken breast that were extremely bland. The steak tacos were so dry that I requested a refund, which they denied. Instead of arguing over $3.00 refund, I opted to spread the word to prevent others from wasting their money. There are PLENTY of other taco restaurants in the area; drive right...
