Jordan Jerk Palace III — Restaurant in Lake Township

Excuse my French this morning but ALL OF THE FOOD HERE IS DAMN GOOD ☝🏾

Well worth the drive , well worth the wait well worth the price. When something is made right and seasoned to perfection, there’s just very little you can say besides when you will be back for another round.

I had their jerk shrimp Alfredo 🍤, candy yams 🍠, Mac n Cheese 🧀 and jerk white meat dinner. We ate everything in sight, only complaint I have is that we didn’t see the jerk pizza 🍕 on the menu when we went so we didn’t know to order one to go and haven’t got to try it, even though I can tell it’s good 👍🏽 and I will be back there this week to order one.

I highly recommend this restaurant, there’s free parking 🅿️ great food, the ordering windows 🪟 are confusing but worth figuring out. If you’re looking 👀 for just simply good food to brag about this is your one stop shop. Heads up this is a grab and go situation, not a sit down and eat comfortably situation so be prepared to hit the road once your order is ready because it’s the type of meal you’ll want to sit down and lounge for. Is truly comfort and unbutton your jeans 👖 while/after you eat kind of meals, the portion sizes are up there as well as the quality of the food, you will want a nap after eating is all I can say.

Otherwise enjoy your meal whatever you select and keep watching how often you are going back for more!!!

BABY if I could give this place ZERO STARS I WOULD. We ordered 3 dinners, we ordered 2 1/2 chicken dark the sides were macaroni and cheese and yams. The third dinner was a shrimp lobster rice bowl. Ordered via DoorDash as we were having a girls night at the house. Tell me why this place decided just to send one meal which isn’t even what we asked for. They sent us 5 itty bitty jerk wings macoroni and cheese and cabbage. We didn’t even order that at all. We called the restaurant and the lady that picked up said they didn’t have most of our order so they just what they had bc she said the door dasher had already been waiting too long. I asked her what sense does it make to send me a dinner I didn’t order instead? This lady said door dash is third party and I need to take it up with them for a refund. We get on the app and door dash only offered 1/2 a refund. I call her back and ask what we should do she said talk to their customer service and she will approve a full refund. A LIE NOW we are going back and forth with door dash to get the rest of our money. Basically this placed scammed us out of over $70. When they could have just cancelled the order. I asked if they can do anything and they refused to remake the food even if we came to pick it up. This place is a scam do...

I usually go to the Caribbean Jerk Palace on 79th when I visit but seeing this is the only location left according to google and their fb even though it says Jordan on here and outside but the address on their fb shows the same. I came to this one while on a day trip from visiting MN before heading back to where I reside in TX. It is 9:48 pm 5/17/25 when I arrived and as I’m entering, a lady is yelling to the cooks not to make someone’s and looks at me and says “we not taking anymore orders.” I politely asked her “you can’t take one from someone that came out of town?” She completely ignored me and continued doing what she was doing. Her customer service and her attitude are trash which has never been my experience at the other location. If you don’t want to take orders until closing time of 10, then change your hours! 🤷🏾‍♀️ it’s really that simple. Definitely will be finding another jerk spot now when I visit. Just a shame a place that has been part of my childhood despite not being raised here and that I speak so highly of, had to leave such a foul taste in my mouth. I can only imagine how the quality of the food has gone down if this is what the people serving it customer service is...
