If I could rate NEGATIVE stars, I most definitely would. Had one of the worst experiences. I get that this is a fast food, inexpensive, chain pizza spot, that is NO reason to give patrons horrible service. I witnessed the manager/supervisor on duty on August 3rd, 2018 around 6:30-7:00pm be such a rude representative of Little Caesars, it just boiled my blood. Upon walking in, I noticed the place was packed, obviously very busy, said manager/supervisor (m/s) calls out to entering customers (I was the only one entering at the moment) “Everyone after the man with the hat will have to wait 5-10 minutes to get your order taken!” Now you all know that Little Caesars isn’t that big. Even the ones on the bigger size are NOT so big that you have to shout at your customers in order to get your message heard. So I said to myself, okay fine, she’s busy, she’s frustrated and flustered, give her a break. She shouts this out two more times while I was in line, about 8-10 more customers walked in. I finally get to the front to place my order, and order two of those new 5 meat pizzas, and she tells me they are no longer making those. Um, okay? Mind you, I have to lean forward and repeatedly ask her to repeat herself throughout our interaction due to her speaking so low that I cannot make out what she’s saying, the whole time she’s avoiding looking at me. “Do you still have the extra most bestest pizzas available?” Okay great, they do. I place my order and try to pay, the machine won’t read my card, chip nor swipe. I get frustrated and decide to pay cash. By this point I’m beyond my patience threshold. I stand aside and wait. At some point m/s calls out a name who’s order is ready, an older lady steps forward, realizes that one of the pizzas she received was one she saw sitting for quite a while, and was now on the colder side, says to m/s “Can I have another pizza because this one has been sitting for a while and isn’t fresh.” M/s: “Yes it is fresh.” Older lady: “No it’s not, can I have a different one please?” M/s: SNATCHES pizza, THROWS it onto a side counter, that thing bounced around, really? Returns with a new pizza, very obviously turns her head and looks away from older lady as she hands over the new pizza. Come on, are you in kindergarten? Have some respect. M/s notices I’m noticeably upset, reassures me my pizzas are coming out shortly. A younger gal come to the front and asks m/s if she needs help taking orders, m/s says yes, younger gal opens second register, m/s immediately leaves her register and doesn’t reappear the rest of the time I was there. I get it, I’ve worked in the customer service industry, and realize things get rough. But seriously, don’t work there if you have to behave that way in order to make it through the day. Read moreI had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant with this Little Caesars location (3225 W 47th Pl, Chicago, IL 60632). I placed my order well in advance for delivery, and it was confirmed at 1:54 PM with an estimated delivery time of 6:46–6:51 PM. Everything seemed fine until the driver contacted me — not with a status update, but to tell me there was a 30–40 minute wait for pizzas and that he wasn’t sure when it would be ready.
It didn’t stop there. He also mentioned that three other delivery drivers left because the wait was so bad. I eventually had to drive to the store myself, just to try to get my order. When I got there, the place was chaos. The employees at the counter were slow, unorganized, and completely unprofessional — laughing, joking, and hanging out in the back while customers were waiting. There was no sense of urgency or care for the people who had already paid for their food.
I literally had to fight my way to the front to get someone to even check my order. And even after all that, they still handed me the wrong pizzas. At that point, I called DoorDash support, explained the situation, and thankfully they gave me a full refund — but honestly, that doesn’t make up for how frustrating and unnecessary this whole ordeal was.
This was not just a bad day — this is a management and staffing problem. If this location cannot handle simple advance orders, cannot communicate with delivery drivers, and cannot treat customers with respect, then it is failing at the most basic level of service.
This experience was enough for me to say: this location should be shut down or completely re-staffed. I will not be ordering from here again, and I strongly encourage others to avoid this location if they expect their order to be on time, correct, or handled...
Read moreThis location is always packed and has horrible communication from the employees. I’ve had 2 horrible experiences in the last few encounters of coming here! The food is either lukewarm or burnt. The location will take large online orders and then still tell people they have about a 10minute wait which is more like a 2hour wait depending on the time of day or holiday. The cashiers always take orders and then abruptly tell others placing orders they will not be taking orders for another hour!
One experience I had was coming to this location around 3pm. There were about 4 other people waiting to order by the time I placed my order the store was packed. People were waiting in a line outside. The cashier took my order and then said 10mins. A lady and two kids came in directly after me, placed their order and told 10mins. As I sat in my car watching an hour and 30mins had passed and I was still being told 10mins. The lady that was behind me within 30minutes got their order and had left. When I inquired I was told I had to wait until they finished a large order before my food would be done. So I just asked for a refund. Side note: myself and the lady with 2kids had 1 order of pizza. Fast forward a few months and I returned thinking okay its about 12noon the service should be faster than 3pm. NOPE! I walked in with a friend after a family, the family ordered and then the cashier looks over and said oh we aren’t taking anymore orders for the next hour!
The next hour!! This chain of food is supposed to be hot and ready! not hot but waiting.
I don’t know- I absolutely hate this location but if you want to take a gamble and go here just know you’ve been warned! Oh also be sure to know people will leave mid shift and then your wait time...
