A hidden gem for Natarit style seafood in the South side of Chicago. I have been coming here for years and bringing my family and friends. It's very busy on weekends, so the best time to visit is on weekdays. They have $5.99 breakfast on weekdays 8-11am. The fish supplier is actually just across the street so all the seafood is always fresh and you can taste it. They also have other traditional Mexican fare like tacos and flautas, but their specialty is definitely seafood. From shrimp and langostinos to Nayarit-style whole Red Snapper and Ceviche tostadas. There are many options to choose from. They even offer a Parrillada wich is served on a mini grill table side. They have a kids menu and a huge selection of beer and cocktails. I recommend the lime margarita and the Michelada with Modelo. They have Karaoke and a DJ some Fridays. From 6-11pm. This is actually the best-priced seafood restaurant in the area and easily top 10 in the seafood category in all of...
Read moreWould absolutely not recommend this place in a million years. I would rather have ate McDonald’s. I went with a big group of 12 and the food lacked flavor and they were stingy with the amount of food they give. Aside from the platillos being expensive, the food is most definitely not worth the price. Another thing is we payed like Almost half of the payment with cash and the rest with card(to avoid the surcharge for paying with card). Even with the cash the surcharge was still the same whether we put cash down or not. I would like to imply that the service was decent but I would Not come back especially considering the food made me very sick. I love small businesses but not when they take advantage of...
Read moreFirst time ever trying this place. Plus+ Its BYOB, no wait to get a table, plenty of parking, they sell Seafood as well as Meats, antojitos mexicanos like Tacos, Tortas, Sopes, not just a Seafood place. Cons- The menu is too large, resulting in them potentially not having what you want. We ordered the Charales, then came back saying they didn't have any. What we did end up ordering was very good. The place is always empty, makes me wonder why? Lol Other places like El Veneno, La Palapa, Las Islas you have to wait to be seated. We went on Saturday night and had the place to ourselves!! I dont know if thats a good sign...
