Pizza was A' ok, or fine, I just didn't understand the delivery guy's question.
He asked to see my ID to see if it matched my card, I said ok. Then he gave it back, and then asked to see it again so he can write down my personal Identification Driver's Liscence number.
I was like: what are you talking about? Are you serious? I said to him that's going to far and that's my personal information.
The delivery driver then said: those were Frank's rules, and I'm thinking to myself, who's Frank? I eventually did ask him that question.
And then he said it was his boss's name.
He then said: forget about it, you don't have to give it to me.
He also said: that his boss is old school and doesn't know why he wants people's----State ID #'s------ with there------credit card numbers----- it just doesn't make any sense, and that he needs to update the system.
I was like,...ok,' and ....basically surprised on what he just said.
Because before I made the order, I made it clear to the person on the other side of the line: Did my credit card go through? And she said yes.
So that's why I was like, what are you saying?
I clearly did not understand why the delivery driver was asking me for my personal identification number to write down.
I started to think: I do have a Spanish last name, does this have anything to do with my last name being Spanish? Is this guy pulling a fast discriminating joke on me.
My thoughts were just running fast in my mind. I thought to myself, is that what he's trying to do, mess with me? I mean, that's not funny at all, if that was his intent. I did see him slightly laugh.
The whole process of me actually getting my pizza from the delivery driver was just very wierd and strange.
I mean he wanted to write down my personal ID number on what looked like another reciept with my credit card#.
Now I can understand him writing down my card #, and asking to check the name on my ID to see if it matches on the card, which it did,
but asking to write down ones own personal ID# on a receipt, I find awkwardly strange.
I noticed a little hesitation and nervousness in him when he asked that question......*the whole incident was just not normal for me me to witness.
In my whole life... that never happened to me, nor at any other pizza place I ordered from.
This was my first time ordering from Palmero's 🍕, and it might be my last.
P.s the delivery guy was a heavy set guy....
Read moreWorst service and experience ever. Was trying it for the first time but never again. Lady who took my order was super rude but I still decided to give it a try since I was told the pasta there was really good and I was looking forward to try it. After waiting for almost 45min we went to pick it up,a man who We believe was the manager asked for an ID when he was about to run my sisters debit card. My sister told him she didn’t had her ID with her and that no one had told her over the phone that we needed one. So he turned around and started screaming at his employee so rudely and you could see the fear on her face which most likely means he mistreats them a lot. He kept yelling at her saying “ I told you that you have to tell people they need an ID whenever they place an order!!” So then he turns and tells my sister well you can go to an ATM and get cash for your order but just so you know we close at 8:30! So my sister tells him “but is 8:30 already” and he so rudely tells her well that’s not my problem you are not getting your order then. So we had to leave with no food after waiting so long. Almost all the places were closed already to order so now my family was left with no dinner thanks to this Rude man who doesn’t know how to treat his staff and his customers. It wasn’t a $15 or $20 meal I was paying for it was over $70 so we dont understand how he let that order just go to waste instead of just taking our payment. Never again will I be ordering from there. No need to yell at his customers if his staff didn’t tell us about the ID both times we spoke on the phone. And definitely no need to mistreat an employee infront of...

I ordered the Cheese Ravioli, and let me tell you—it was nothing short of incredible. Each ravioli was generously stuffed with velvety, creamy cheese that oozed with every bite, creating this perfect, rich texture. The pasta itself was cooked to perfection—soft and tender with just the right amount of bite, making each forkful a delightful experience. The real magic, though, was in the sauce. It had a unique sweetness, almost like a slow-cooked, tomato-rich marinara that had been simmering for hours, deepening in flavor. The slight sweetness of the sauce paired with the creamy, savory cheese filling was an irresistible combination, creating layers of flavor that had me savoring every mouthful. Each bite felt comforting, like a warm hug on a plate, with a flavor profile that was balanced and deeply satisfying.
