Racine Bakery — Restaurant in Lake Township

I try to be as Honest and Transparent as possible. Food is a 5 it's excellent and service is a 4 let's face it can get busy, so ots impossible to achieve a 5 when your going to wait, BE Patient!!!!, as close to home made as your gonna get. I love there chicken dumpling but your gonna be disappointed if you don't get there for the first few pints to take home 🏡. I love the woman and young ladies they always have a beautiful smile and pleasant diposition. Very, Hard working diligent staff and well you can eat in but it's only a book of a counter for about 3-4 adults comfortably. ☕ Coffee is always freshly brewed and the pastry, MY God where do I start, I love the mini chocolate drizzled poonshsky , Patczki , I know my grammar is off there so, forgive me. Now, there warm/cold deli is also great, breads are impeccable, fresh with some warmth and butter and voila instant meal married with your favorite. Deli choices. If you miss the Old Warsaw Deli that was on Archer and Lockwood or the Old HAM STORE, then you will be pleased to Find those treats at Racine Bakery And Nestled next to Three Sons Restaurants, it's also a great place to keep your pallette going going gone. A late Saturday morning visit to Racine Bakery was a delight to my visual and sensory systems. Well stocked with goodies in the bakery and deli areas. I found my ethnic roots screaming in front of my eyes and my stomach! I left with my purchases well wrapped with the promise of deliciousness when I returned home. That promise was fulfilled with the best melt-in-the-mouth Kolacky I've had in a long time. The liver sausage on fresh Lithuanian Rye was out of this world. I look forward to dinner later with their sauerkraut soup and kugelis! Racine Bakery has a good sized, ample parking lot on the side that is shared on one end with another business. Prices are very reasonable. A heads-up: to get assistance in the deli, the quick moving line starts along the cheese case. No numbers...

What a neat place to find. The bakery part had very attractive coffee cakes in 8 or 10 different flavors. The prices of these sizeable coffee cakes were incredible ... $5! I bought one with cheese, but gave it away to a family member without getting to try it, so I was very disappointed. It looked great ...

The other side is a delicatessen. Very simple, but also with very decent prices and nicely prepared... I ordered a ham and swiss on Polish rye bread. It was prepared with great care ... two thick layers of ham, cheese in between, lettuce and tomato and a pickle. Very nice.

In sum, this is one of those little neighborhood treasures. Definitely will be back to try the...
