There’s something special about a hometown pizza place that still feels like family, and Ron’s Pizza in Bellefontaine hits that mark every time.

Today I made the 20-minute drive just to grab takeout — that’s how good it is. When I arrived, they were slammed busy — phones ringing off the hook (literally, off the hook), staff hustling, and ovens working overtime. You could tell this crew was in the trenches, but still smiling.

Mr. Clark runs a tight, friendly ship with a great team that genuinely cares about the food and the customers. Even when an order mix-up happened last time — my deluxe pizza walked out the door with someone else, and I ended up with their cheese — they made it right, no questions asked, and honored a free replacement.

That’s small-town integrity you don’t find at the chains. Mistakes happen in business, but character shows in how you handle them.

The pizza? Always worth the trip. Perfect crust, generous toppings, and that “just right” flavor that keeps me coming back.

I love this place! I think it's by far, the. best. in. town! I remember the first time having Rons pizza. The week it opened, I think we had pizza every other day! I'll admit, although my love affair continues on, we don't see as much as one another. One reason is the hours. I am happier now that my fav is available at lunchtime and on Sunday's. The second reason is, cost. Rons rarely if ever has specials. The lunch special was wonderful. We could have a nooner Monday through Friday for only $10! Now, with their Facebook special are able to spend more quality time together. Normally though my family of 8 gets in the way of enjoying Rons. I do love it but when it hurts my Bill(fold) so terribly I have to turn to another Ceaser in BTown.... Rons bring on some specials, maybe some Shopping Show certificates... Or something. Pleasant, friendly, timely. The food is really a representation of how great the staff unifies and prepares their cuisine. I have had a hard time with customer service throughout the pizzerias and with it being a holiday many places are closed. When I reached out to Ron's which happened to be my first pick, I was elated when they informed me that they delivered to my area. They were kind, patient, and polite.
