Sharks FishChicken& grill — Restaurant in Lake Township

My experience at this Sharks restaurant was great. I ordered the 15 piece fried perch family meal and the 14 piece jumbo shrimp meal with an order of hush puppies and a large cole slaw. The fish and the shrimp was extremely fresh and everything was perfectly seasoned. The food wasn't greasy and I could tell that the oil they used to fry everything was fresh, because all the food smelled clean and all the breading and fries were nice and crispy. The ladies who took my order were polite and the restaurant was very clean. They also got my order done pretty quickly. I look forward to ordering a meal from this establishment again and would recommend it to others to give it a try. You'll really enjoy the food. Next time, I'm going to order some of their chicken, because I've heard that's really good too. P.S. I enjoyed the food so much, that I decided to go back and get a big order for the entire family. Prices are high compared to other Sharks I visit. Owner says it's because he has better quality food than the other locations 🤷🏽‍♂️. I asked him to show me then. They portions were definitely larger than other Sharks, however the fish (catfish tails and steaks) were very greasy because they weren't strained long enough before placing them in the box. Catfish tails were overly fishy tasting, but I'm finding that to be consistent at all Sharks locations. Starting to wonder if those are even catfish tails they're serving foks 🤔 The customer service was great! The young ladies working the front were helpful, pleasant, and professional. The owner/cook was nice as well as he did throw in a couple of free wings for me to try since this was first visit. Wings...

I’ll admit, I wasn’t always a fan of Shark’s Chicken—until we started ordering from the location on 83rd and Ashland. The chicken there is consistently fresh, perfectly seasoned to your preference, and the employees are generally pleasant. The owner, Jimmy, goes above and beyond to connect with customers, making everyone feel welcome and leaving with a smile.

When I needed to cater for my mom’s memorial, I called ahead to reserve an order. Jimmy was professional, friendly, and very accommodating. When I stopped by to pay in advance, he was just as kind in person. Their slushies are also a tasty bonus!

Because of this consistent experience, my family won’t order from any other Shark’s location...
