I THOUGHT STARTING A FEW MONTHS AGO THAT ALL FRANCHISE LOCATIONS WERE SUPPOSED TO ACCEPT ALL PROMOTIONS AND COUPONS...This location is known for not accepting any coupons or online promotions, so I was surprised when today (02-29-24) it was on the app that they were accepting the buy one/get one free promotion. I placed an order and when I got there to pick it up, I was told it was going to be cancelled since, in the employee's words, "The owner doesn't allow us to accept the buy one/get one free coupon". Luckily I placed the order just minutes before walking into the restaurant (since I never trust them to make my food without me there), since they NEVER pay attention to any special requests you have for your order (such as basic requests like "extra this" or "easy that"), but had I not immediately walked into the restaurant, when were they going to let me know the order was cancelled?! Luckily I didn't spend a large amount of time driving there to get food that was eventually cancelled anyway. Either way, I'll never spend another penny at this...

Typically we turn a blind eye but this time one sub was completely missing olives and onions while being toasted when that's not what we requested and we actually asked for more spinach. Then on top of that we found three pieces of hair in the sandwich. I was under the impression that the workers wore hair nets and especially with covid going on that guidelines would be stricter but evidently that's not the case. The other sub was always missing spinach (not sure if they were out?) And it wasn't toasted. I'm pregnant and being as such you can't eat cold lunch meat because of the risk of listeria so getting it toasted is something I do actually need. As the Guy was preparing my sandwich, He touched the oven to remove another sandwich and I asked Him to change His gloves before continuing with my sandwich, which He did (totally convinced He wasn't taught about cross contamination). The second time it happened He got highly upset when I asked Him to change gloves, He started throwing things and stormed to the back. The other Guy who was very nice, kind, & professional looked shocked at His co workers reaction but quickly continued serving me. The nice Guy had curly hair. He calmed the situation down because I was about to report this to the board of health but I changed my mind.
