I went in to buy pizza on 1/23/23. I used an Amex gift card. The person at the register said the payment had not gone through and asked me to try it again. I slid my card a second time. Again, she said it wasn't working. I logged in to check by balance, and I had already been charged twice. She called her manager and the manager said they couldn't do anything about it. Hearing the employee talk to the manager on the phone made me feel like they thought I was trying to scam them out of money. I really did want the pizza, so i placed the order and paid with cash. The manager eventually walked in and did not acknowledge me, but I'm sure the employee told him "she's the person I called you about". I really did feel like they thought I was trying to scam them which is horrible because it was not my fault.
After, I called my card and was told I had to wait to see if they accepted payment. If they didn't claim the purchase, the money would go back to my card. I checked on Wed. 1/25/23, and the payments had been posted. I'm still out about 35 dollars.
This location has to do better about training their employees on different payment methods and their computer system. The fact that the employee and manager told me they didn't know and couldn't do anything tells me they are poorly trained. It was terrible customer service. I'm sure all she probably had to do was check my card and enter the security card number but she was confused, panicked, and did not know how to deal with the action required alert....
Read moreWe ordered on the little Caesars app and of course it sent my order by door dash and it was the most horrible experience of my life. It took two hours for the food to get to my house, and I was looking out the window and I saw the driver drop two of my boxes of food on the wet ground! He then hid behind his car and picked everything up and delivered it to me, wow! I said to him hey buddy I saw you drop my food and he turned and said No English (he was a migrant). I knew this to be true because even in the text msg he was texting me in Spanish when I was looking for my food. I then looked at all the boxes and bags and not one item was sealed everything looked very unsafe to eat. I then took the whole order back to little Caesars and asked why don't you guys put stickers seals or something over the boxes and bags so we can be somewhat sure these random delivery drivers did anything to our food? The workers said oh I'm sorry we don't do that, we just send it like that and for the bags we just fold them over. I said sir you do understand that's very bad business, and he gave me a plastic bag and said will this help.... I then just dropped the whole order in the lobby and walked out! I will never order from this place again, every restaurant in the country seals delivery orders except trash...
Read moreThis place is horrible! Something always goes wrong when placing an order on 79th and Cicero! Placed a delivery on the little Caesars app at 5:27 pm and immediately received a text stating my order would arrive by 6:04 pm. Just when I’m thinking my order is about to arrive, I receive a text at 6:05 pm stating that my ordered had just been canceled bc the store closed! I quickly googled the store hours and of course they’re still open, until 10:00! Called the store and asked about my order and they quickly passed me along to the manger. When talking to the manger. I expressed my thoughts and concerns as to why I would receive a text saying that their store is closed and instead of trying to resolve the situation with me, The manager insisted it was door dashes fault and said door dash stole my order and she can just refund me! I asked her to check if my order was still there at the store and sure enough if was so not only was she accusing someone for stealing my order she tried to blame everything on door dash after each question I would ask. I asked her how long she has been managing the store and she said 2 years. No wonder all of my orders had an issue. Needs new...
