This is the best Mexican food in Chicago. You would not think it by looking at the place. They don't have tables -- only a lunch counter. But the food is quite amazing. Don't order a burrito -- ask what the specials are. They always have specials and they are all really, really good. Try the shrimp on rice. Read moreI've been going here since I could ever remember. I HATE sopes, hate hate hate them, but I am absolutely in love with theirs. I'll only eat their sopes cause they are just SO good. Their Carne asada is absolutely amazing. Their prices are so good for the amazing food that you're getting. people wait by the door in this small area if it's full just to eat, it's that good. And the prices are cheap for the quality you receive. I love this place. The woman at the counter already knows my family. and when I had a kid his first taco came from there and I hope that they're still there when the next...
