I recently dined at Mi lindo Maravatio, and while the experience was mixed, there are a few key points to note.
First and foremost, the food was excellent. The tampiqueña was bursting with authentic Mexican flavors, from the perfectly seasoned carne asada to the rich and hearty quesadilla. The quality of the ingredients and the care in preparation were evident in every bite. If you're seeking a genuine culinary experience, this place delivers on the food front.
However, the positives end there. The prices are steep, which might be acceptable if the overall experience matched the cost, but unfortunately, it did not. The service was subpar, with waitstaff who seemed indifferent and unfriendly. It felt like we were more of a burden than guests, which significantly detracted from the enjoyment of the meal.
Adding to the lackluster service was a robot waiter. While this might sound like a fun and futuristic addition, it added nothing to the ambiance. The robot felt out of place in the restaurant's setting and didn't improve efficiency or the dining experience in any meaningful way.
In summary, while Mi lindo Maravatio excels in delivering delicious food, the high prices and poor service, coupled with the gimmicky robot waiter, make it hard to recommend. If they could improve their customer service and create a more welcoming atmosphere, it would be worth revisiting. FYI, the chips provided seemed like leftovers from other tables, just crumbs and hardly any...
