I usually don't leave reviews but this justifies a spoken voice to let it be known that this Wendy's is TERRIBLE. I placed a mobile order for drive thru pickup. (I'm not sure if I was allowed to go in and get it since I chose drive thru, that is why I got in/stayed in the drive thru) When I got there there was 3 cars in line. Not a big deal, right? WRONG. We were in the drive thru line I kid you not for at least 25 minutes. Each car that would pull up to the speaker to order was immediately told "I'll be with you in just a moment" without fail for each. and. every. car. When it got time for me to pull up to the speaker you can probably already guess what I was told. Sat there a good about 5 minutes (no exaggeration) and decided to cancel the order (they had not even started the order. They don't start the order until you give them your name and since I was told "I'll be with you in just a moment" and at least 5 minutes went by with complete silence, the name was never given.) I canceled the order in the app and drove away. Is this anyway to treat your customers? This Wendy's needs closed down until they can get competent workers in there. I know I wasted all that time for nothing, but honestly didn't feel the food would even be properly cared for/cooked properly with such incompetent workers. The order was for my 4 year old daughter, that is why I made that impulse decision. That and my order for a Casey's General Store pizza was 10 minutes PAST pick up time. Read moreSo i am 9 months pregnant and my husband and i walked to Wendy's from north main by the hospital just so i can have my large frosty and large fry. All i was craving and i reach thee doors only for them to be locked at 9:22pm the doors clearly say 11 PM closed. So i call and ask for the doors to be reopened because i see 3 employes walking to thier car and sitting in the lot . As the manager answers i ask to come in she explains she only has 2 employees on the floor. I asked her to serve me through the window and she said no she can get in trouble . Im sorry bug your advertisement shows 11 pm you obviously just let 3 employees leace so to me it sounds like a poor judgment in labor and floor Managment. Im very upset i walked all that way just for 2 items and got turned away in the cold and after being pregna t and walking from the hospital to Wendy's was very much aggr .i dont understand why she couldnt open the doors and take our order . Ther were people on the lot she could have told come back in. 3 other people tryed and qere also turned away . So its now a bellefontain thing for us to just close up early because its a slow night . My husband and I visited the drive-thru and ordered two $5 Biggie Bags. We were told to pull forward because they were making fresh fries, so we waited... for 30 minutes. Frustrated, we went inside to speak with someone, but the staff member at the counter immediately ducked into the kitchen to avoid us. Left with no other option, we waited in line.
When we finally got to the front and explained that we hadn’t received our food after half an hour, the cashier was dismissive. A woman, who I believe was the manager on duty, grabbed our receipt without even an apology for the delay. Moments later, she returned, slammed the bag onto the counter, muttered a curt “here,” and walked away. No acknowledgment, no explanation, nothing.
