VISITED THIS PLACE ON OCTOBER 22, 2021 AROUND 6:20 PM AND WENT TO SIT DOWN IN THE LOBBY FOR A MEETING. THE CASHIER'S, SECURITY AND SOME OTHER PEOPLE IN THE LOBBY WHO I FOUND OUT WAS STAFF KEPT STARING AT ME LIKE I DID SOMETHING WRONG. THEN I WAS APPROACHED AT THE TABLE AND TOLD I HAD TO BUY SOMETHING IN ORDER TO SIT IN THEIR LOBBY. THEN THEY SHOWED ME A LITTLE SIGN WAY UP ON THE WALL IN THEIR LOBBY STATING THAT. THE SIGNS SHOULD HAVE BEEN PLACED ON THE DOORS THEN CUSTOMERS WOULD KNOW. I ENDED UP BUYING A DRINK AND ASKED THE STAFF WAS THAT GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME TO SIT IN THE LOBBY. I WAS TOLD IT WASN'T FAIR TO OTHER CUSTOMERS FOR ME TO SIT IN THE LOBBY WITHOUT BUYING SOMETHING. THEN THE STAFF WAS NOSY LISTENING IN ON MY MEETING. WENDY'S HAS LOST A GOOD CUSTOMER BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN BUYING FOOD FROM THEM FOR 15 YEARS. I NOW WILL ONLY BUY FOOD FROM MCDONALD'S ACROSS THE STREET FROM THEM. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO WENDY'S ON 83RD AND ASHLAND. THE STAFF IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER AND IF I COULD WRITE THIS REVIEW WITHOUT GIVING THIS PLACE ANY STARS I WOULD. Read moreI usually don't give bad feedback because people need their jobs and we as citizens need to try and keep good restaurant in the neighborhood. But the service and food I received yesterday from the location on (I think it's) 83rd Ashland was awful. The cashier was very pleasant when she finally took my order after standing in line for 18 minutes. (I did time it). Because I was in the drive through but I was just sitting there for a while so I decided to park and go in. After I ordered, it was almost 30 minutes later when I go my food. I think this is unacceptable and I will not be back to that location. I only went to that location because I got off the Metro train 2 blocks away and my sweet nephews wanted some Wendy's. That's the only reason I couldn't leave. I feel I am a patient person but that long wait was unacceptable especially when I'm looking at a whole staff behind the counter. I really like Wendy's food but when I got home, every burger I got in my bag looked like clothes returned to the store after being worn. Mine as well as my family's food was dry and the vegetables on it was wilted. I hope I'm not getting anyone in trouble for my experience but it was not good. I got off work to get a tasty $6 biggie bag, and a young lady by the name of Madison (with black and pink locs) took my order rudely and kept cutting me off as I was saying my order. I asked for everything I ordered to be fresh out the grease. As I approached the window I sat there for at least 7/10 mins for her to give me my food and it was COLD ! So I asked her could she give me fresher nuggets and fries, what she didn't know was my friend was behind me in line at the speaker on the phone with me, so as I asked for fresher food she closes the window and says “she talm bout she want some fresh nuggets and fries, huuuhhh I’m ready to go home, oh my mic is still on” and proceeds to laugh with coworkers. So I sat there for about 5 more minutes for my nuggets to be just as cold as the first batch she gave me. That is unacceptable why should I not get fresh food if im paying my money for it ? They need better staff ASAP ! Because literally every time I go there I have to give my food back for them to actually cook me some fresh food and then they be refrying the stuff you give back like don’t nobody notice.
