We got to chipotle after driving for a while thru Chicago. My wife and I are in a rv traveling thru the states. We stop at this chipotle to eat. Unfortunately, we had a bad service with a young white girl. She had a face like we had done something wrong to her. She didn't smile and wasn't listening to what we wanted and wasn't pleasant. She proceeded to fill the bowl with just a little rice and the meat was so small I had to ask her to put additional meat. She got upset and slam more meat on the bowl. My wife order the chicken bowl. The young lady forgot to put the chicken on it or just didn't pay attention to what she was doing. When I ask her to put the meat she got upset and slam the meat unto my wife's plate. There was an Asian girl at the register who took notice of her actions and apologize to us both. The asian girl was very professionalism and at least gave us a smile when we got to the register to pay. This young white girl maybe had personal problems but should not be taking it out on the customers. When we check at the register she told the Asia girl to charge us for double meat. The amount was raise for two bowls to a total of $30.73! Unbelievable! But I'm not going to let this individual drive me away from chipotle restaurants. Staff was friendly, place looked clean but standing right in the middle of the restaurant was a homeless man smelling of urine and extreme body odor. I am not without compassion but just his smell was enough for me to lose my appetite. The staff there should have asked him to leave since he was not buying anything. To his credit he was not asking for anything but he was not making the dining experience a pleasant one. I thought about buying him a meal but thought that would only encourage this behavior. I feel bad for anyone in his position but a business needs to protect it's brand and experience. Perhaps the staff there could have offered him a meal if he would sit at a table. Read moreFood is typically good. I give you 1 star today for service. I came in and walked to the counter and gave the guy there a friendly hello. There was no acknowledgment of my existence. He was too busy opening the package of burrito wraps. Look - I understand things get busy, but it is downright rude to not even do the minimum to acknowledge a customer and simply say “hello, I’ll be with you in a moment after this order.” After waiting a few minutes, still with no acknowledgment or dialogue I just left and went next door to Subway. At least there I am welcomed with a smile and appropriate client interaction. Not sure I’ll come back to this Chipotle location.
