This little, fully-enclosed park has a useful assortment of equipment and open space that is partially shaded at the west end and around the periphery. The equipment is relatively new and in good shape, but it's unfortunate that the mulch base isn't maintained very well. This matters because the swings and slides are tremendously high off the ground, making it hard for smaller kids to play independently. There is also a squared off area in the middle of the playground that I can't quite figure out its purpose. It looks like maybe it was intended to be a sandbox, but there's no sand (just more mulch). I particularly enjoy the grassy area with large boulders, as you can lay down a blanket while still being able to see the whole park. It should be noted that the park is only several feet from the busy Red/Purple Line elevated tracks, so it frequently gets quite noisy, which may bother some kids.
