I recently had the pleasure of hosting a CWC personal chef dinner in my home, and I must say, it was a truly unforgettable experience. The chef, Chris, was not only skilled in the kitchen but also warm and personable, making the evening feel like dining with a close friend.

From the moment the chef arrived, the aroma of freshly prepared ingredients filled the air, and I knew I was in for a treat. As the evening progressed, dish after dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. Each bite was a delicious journey of textures and tastes, and the experience was made even more special by the chef's detailed explanations of the ingredients and techniques used in each dish.

One of the highlights of the evening was watching the chef work his magic in the kitchen. His culinary skills were truly impressive, and he was able to create a feast for the senses in no time. The dishes were beautifully plated, and the flavors were perfectly balanced, making each bite a truly indulgent experience.

The atmosphere at the dinner was relaxed and festive, and the chef's staff friendly and engaging personality made for a truly enjoyable evening. I appreciated his attention to detail, from the way he paired each dish with the perfect wine to the way he made sure that everyone was comfortable and satisfied.

I highly recommend Chris (and his team) as a personal chef. The experience was unforgettable, and I would not hesitate to have the chef back in my home again. The food was exquisite, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Food was incredible. Chef Chris and his team were able to accommodate gluten free and vegan guests we had, as well as special meals for my spouse, myself, and our parents on our Wedding Day.

Cost to value was great in comparison to other caterers in the area 34 per person for Italian pasta bar with three sauces, two salads, a focaccia bread and non alcoholic drinks for our main meal. We only did the main meal to keep cost low for ourselves, appetizers were a bit on the higher end compared to other options in the area, we didn't talk about desserts but it is something they offer as well.

Communication was touch and go with Director of Operations Emily, though when brought up to Chef Chris he offered to make it right with us and ensured that there would be policies put in place to improve communication going forward. (Will update review once we talk more.)

I hired Cooking with Cuellar LLC to cater food for my school staff as I am a Chicago Public School Principal. Cooking with Cuellar is among the most affordable approved catering vendors in all of Chicago. I cannot emphasize enough how incredibly delicious this food was! We ordered Puerto Rican food and my mostly Puerto Rican and Latinx staff could not believe how authentic the food taste (many compared it to their Abuela's cooking)! The Arroz con Gandules was the perfect blend of rice and pigeon peas, the fried plantains were scrumptious, salty and had an amazing texture! The Arroz con pollo was bold, flavorful and tasted like it came straight from the island of Puerto Rico! Chef Cuellar and his team were incredibly timely and professional in their communication.
