Great Spot for Bagel Lovers in the North! As a fan of fine bagels, my husband took me to The Bagelers Coffeehouse on Lincoln Ave, and it did not disappoint! Food: They offer a wide variety of bagels, all baked to perfection—soft on the inside with a slight crunch on the outside. The selection of freshly prepared cream cheese flavors was impressive. We tried the cheddar cheese jalapeño and sea salt bagel, paired with their homemade garlic chive, giardiniera, and strawberry cream cheese. Each combination was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. Ambience: The coffeehouse has a simple, cool, and cozy vibe, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee and a bagel. It’s a great place to relax, whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment alone. Cost: The prices are very reasonable for the quality and taste of the food. You definitely get your money’s worth! Transport and Parking: Public Transport: CTA Bus: Routes #11 (Lincoln/Sedgwick) and #74 (Fullerton) have stops nearby. CTA Train: Brown Line (Armitage Station) is about a 15-minute walk, and the Red Line (Fullerton Station) is approximately a 20-minute walk or a short bus ride. Driving and Parking: Street parking is available, both metered and non-metered, but check signs for restrictions. Nearby parking garages, such as SP+ Parking at 2335 N Clark St, offer additional options. Rates vary. Overall 'The Bagelers Coffeehouse' is definitely in my bucket for Bagel.

A quaint, lovely little bagel stop offering a good selection of sandwich and coffee/warm beverage options. My husband and I both got the Fisherman sandwich, his with the jalapeño cheddar bagel, and mine with the everything bagel. Both were very delicious! Definitely ask for extra capers on this sandwich though. It needs that salty, briny kick to bring that extra level of goodness to the experience, and I found the sandwich a little lacking there, so I asked for extra. And the drink I got was to die for! Definitely consider trying the bourbon vanilla chai latte if you stop in! Be prepared for a decent chunk of a bill though. Our sandwiches were about $12 each, and my drink was $5, plus decent tax, so our total was around $32. All aside, this was a lovely spot! I'd definitely give it another try in the future.

Came here on a Sunday morning around 10am. It was not crowded or too busy when I got here. I came with my child. They have a big menu, and they kettle boil the bagels. They are good. I got a poppy bagel with garlic and chive cream cheese. And my child got a plain bagel with plain cream cheese. I liked my bagel, I did ask for it toasted and if it was toasted I couldn’t tell. It was fluffy, and very yeasty which was good. It had a lot of flavor, salty, and doughy. I did think that the poppy bagel didn’t have enough poppy seeds. We also got a strawberry lemonade and a cold brew. On our way out at 10:30 it was crowded, line was long, definitely recommend getting here earlier on a weekend. Overall it was good, it is rated among the best bagels in Chicago, considering the competition it may be a winner.

Worked there for a few weeks and when it came time to get paid, I was denied a paycheck. When asked about it, I could not get a solid answer. The manager told me she could not get a hold of the general manager at the time because her phone was off. And then I got an answer saying "I think the boss is trying to figure out how to write the check." Then she tries to leave for the day without resolving my issue. When I asked again about payment, she says "maybe Friday I am not sure." So yes, I walked out. I do not work for free. I got an email today saying my check will be mailed out to me on Friday and not to worry about coming in as I am not employed there anymore. When I asked about the policy and that I was not notified of how I would be getting paid, the general manager of the store told me to have a nice day and that I will get paid. I really enjoyed my time working there and put in a lot of hard work, but I truly feel the management needs more training. They are very young after all. I was the oldest person...

I am a frequent customer, but have been repeatedly disappointed by the consistent failure of The Bagelers to maintain adequate health and safety precautions with respect to the COVID-19 pandemic. The employees generally wear masks, but often one or another can be seen with the mask not covering the nose, including while preparing food, and I have also witnessed one employee having a long conversation with her mask off while standing at the food preparation station, immediately above the trays of food! There is no adequate supervision or guidance, and the staff generally disregard what we all know by now to be the minimum basic standards to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. In addition, the tables have been re-opened with no seating restrictions, and while others wait for their food, they are left to stand around looming over the seating areas. If I see these examples of irresponsible disregard for the publlic health crisis again, I will call 311...
