We had a great experience at this theatre. We went to see Million Dollar Quartet. It is a pretty small theatre so there really isn't a "bad" seat, but characters will likely face section 3 the most. There isn't really a need for great acoustics or great sound since the place is so pleasantly small! Not only that, they let you bring drinks into the theatre- we just brought in a couple cups of coffee from 7-11. The seats are also pretty comfy so it's not like you're sitting on hard plastic for several hours.
In regards to the show, ABSOLUTELY worth the money. I'm not even a rockabilly/rock and roll fan and I had such a great time, I can't stop listening to that music now! Hearing these guys jam live was such a invigorating experience, I was beaming the entire time. I would suggest springing for the seats in sections 2-4 (3 is in the center of the stage) because I would have loved to see their expressions. That said, being in section 1 isn't without its perks either, we were seated behind "Jerry Lee Lewis" and we got to see him go to town on his piano! For that reason, I somewhat think section 2 in the front would be the best seats. You'd be right in line with Jerry Lee, but you'd also have a great view of the rest...

But once the show started, I found this was the perfect venue for this show. The seats were comfortable enough and the bartender was friendly with reasonably priced drinks. No intermission, but you dont want one! The show is about 1hr, 45 minutes and it was fun all the way through. We sat in row H, seats 214/215 in section 2... great seats even though NOT dead center, but still good. The best of the cast was CARL PERKINS;the actor Shawn Whitley is amazing on the guitar and can really channel Carl Perkins! The actress who played Dyanne was great too! The Jerry Lee Lewis actor was young and brash..perfectly played! The others, Elvis and Johnny Cash were good but the others were great! Other players, Sam Phillips and the 2 musicians were solid.. Definitely a good time. Only problem is you have to walk a block or 2 for a cab due to theater/Saturday night...
Read moreI wouldn't categorize this as a 5-star venue for a few reasons.
But the staff was great, will call was easy, and the sound was excellent. There was a well stocked little concession stand selling lots including non-alcoholic drinks for under $3 and...
