0/10 experience. Would never recommend because they don’t know how to treat customers, organize/train staff or communicate professionally. Keep in mind this restaurant doesn’t take reservations, walk in only. So 5 of us wanted to come to get breakfast. 4 rode together and are told it’ll be a 40 minute wait. So the 4 of us wait while our 5th person is on the way (you know after hearing we can even GET IN since there’s no reservation). We get a text that the table is ready, come in, was then greeted and led back. We are actively shuffling in to a booth when another host says “no their whole party has to be here” the waitress that was leading us ROLLS HER EYES and tells us “don’t even worry about it” while agreeing we should sit down. Immediately we tell our 5th member just not to make the drive since they were acting weird. Order fountain drinks while we look at the menu and the host comes back over asking us when the 5th person will arrive. We tell her she is no longer coming since they apparently required full parties (again to a walk in only restaurant). We get our fountain drinks and debate if we should order our friend food to go. The drink straws have barely touched our lips due to us wanting to order quickly. Our server comes back and starts to ask what we would like when the apparent OWNER comes over and says “no don’t take their order they have to move tables I need this table it’s only for 5 people parties or above”. I cannot stress enough that this place DOESNT TAKE RESERVATIONS. What do you mean the table you knowingly sat 4 of us in only takes 5+ people parties when you do. Not. Know. How many people are in the party until they walk in?? Mind you, this man tells the waitress not to take our order because we have to vacate the table for another party that came after us- but they don’t HAVE a table available for us to move to. So we aren’t allowed to order until we move to table they DONT HAVE. The way the owner went about it was offensive and unprofessional. As a business owner if you can’t look your customer in the eye during a moment like this, when you are acting like we’re some run of the mill girls trip so you don’t have to respect us? No thanks. The host came over and we said we would just leave because the whole experience was unprofessional and ridiculous. They didn’t even give us a bill for the sodas since we couldn’t even drink them. I will NEVER go here and I will definitely sway everyone I know to steer clear unless they wanted to be treated...

Read moreWhile the restaurant looked like a nice place, I will NEVER know how the food is. After driving around looking for parking for a while (and paying for parking), I walked up to the restaurant door at 2:35 exactly, only to see a CLOSED SIGN on the door. I stood there puzzled. As I turned to walk away, a gentleman with a chef’s jacket on accompanied by a little girl, walked around me, opened the door and proceeded to enter the restaurant. I asked him “What time does the restaurant close?” He turned to me with the door opened and replied “2:30.” I was stunned, because I knew that online noted that they closed at 3:00 pm. So, I checked my phone to make sure I read it correctly. I had. So as I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted by a young lady that worked there, and asked her what time they closed. She replied “The restaurant closes at 2:30.” I responded, “It says online that you close at 3:00pm.” She replied “The restaurant closes at 3:00pm, but the kitchen closes at 2:30.” I responded “You all should state that on your advertising.” I informed her that I had come quite a distance to support a Black Owned Business only to find out that they actually close a half hour earlier than advertised. She literally looked at me, shrugged her shoulders and smiled at me like “OH WELL!” I thought “Wow, maybe she responded that way because it didn’t matter to her because she just worked there. Or, maybe she didn’t care because after all, she wasn’t Black and she really didn’t understand how some of US go out of our way to support each other, and at the least, she didn’t have to come off so cold.” To the owner, if the KITCHEN closes at 2:30, then the RESTAURANT closes at 2:30, not 3:00, because after all, there is no RESTAURANT, without the KITCHEN. Perhaps you should make note of that online. Just trying to support a...
