North Pond, located in Chicago's Lincoln Park, is a sanctuary for birds and for people as well. It is incredible to be able to experience so much beautiful nature right in the heart of this huge and bustling city. It is a haven for birdwatchers, with a wide variety of waterfowl, wading birds and songbirds, and is a special delight in the spring, when it abounds with goslings and ducklings.
